Who are these people? I don't know. I bought an old photo album, and here they are. Photos were taken at a studio in Chillicothe, Missouri. Much information garnered from the letter from Carol Richards.
Benjamin Burt, b. 5/20/1829, married Nancy 10/25/1849 in Harrison Co. KY
Nancy Jane (Minor) Burt, his wife, and the sister of Preston Minor. Born 11/3/1833.
Mary Elizabeth "Lizzy" Burt, 12 1/2 years old, born 1853. Mary E. Burt married William H. Smyser in 1881. They are found in Carroll county, MO in 1900 with two children, Norvile E. Smyser and Glen D. Smyser, both sons. They moved to Kansas. This info was given to me by Larry Smiser.
Susan Link Burt...at least, I think it says "Link". Age 9 years, born 1856.
Alice Jane Burt, or Allis Burt (on the photo), age 6 1/2. Born 1859.
Benjamin Minor Burt, 4 yrs. old. Born 1862.
