Acetronic MPU Hardware

Advanced Consumer Electronics produced two versions of their MPU video entertainment system. The earlier, MPU 1000, had a separate power supply unit whilst the MPU 2000 had a built-in transformer. Both units had non-removable joysticks. The Radofin 1292 and AudioSonic PP1292 consoles are of an identical design to the MPU 1000 but re-badged with the different distributors names. The Fountain 1392 is the same design as the MPU 2000 but was assembled in and distributed from New Zealand.
