This is a fairly easy cheat to get, but since it is the first level in the game, you are probably just starting out in the game. You are most likely inexperienced, and barely know strafing techniques, so the cheat will seem a little harder to get and probably take a few tries. Click here for general tips and strafing techniques if you are a beginner. Any experienced Goldeneye player should be able to do it on the spot.
Start out by strafing out into the open and across the bridge, ignore the soldiers. A mistake made by most first time players is spending too much time killing enemies you don't have to kill, and using loud weapons. In dam always use your silenced PP7 only when necessary despite the urge to use an automatic weapon. Now strafe to the far end of the open area and go though the tunnel, ignoring all soldiers that might be firing at you, you should be ahead of the green truck by now. Strafe across the next big open area where there are a ton of people firing at you, press B when you reach the switch on the right side of the giant door to open it. You may have been hit quite a bit by now but it won't hurt you too much, you should not have fired a single shot by now. Slip throught the side of the door as it is opening and rush to the next switch and press B to open the next door, squeeze through the slowly opening door as fast as you can. Strafe to the end of the other end of the area, while also focusing on shooting the guand in green who is run towards the alarm. You should manage to kill him before he sounds the alarm. Fire about five consective shots with your silenced PP7 to blow up the alarm mounted on the wall, then open the gate in front of you. Sometimes an officer with a DD44 will come out of the side door, if thats the case, then shoot his sorry russian *ss. In front of you is a locked gate, simply aim and shoot the lock and pass through. Strafe to the first guard tower, go into the door and
quickly shoot the alarm with your silenced PP7. Then exit and continue strafing to the next guard tower, open the door and shoot the alarm. Now go to the final guard tower, open the door, shoot the alarm (objective a completed) and exit. At this point just strafe back to the second guard tower. Sometimes there will be a guard or two shooting at you, just ignore them and run passed them because returning fire would waste too much time. Across from the second guard tower is a small platform, go up the stairs and walk off of it and you got the cheat. I the ending cinema, is it me or did James Bond jump off the dam without a bungee cord (objective b completed).
Paintball Mode
This is probably the first or second cheat you will get and trust me, its a good one that is really fun to use. This is a cheat that I make sure I activate every time I play cheat mission (along with all guns, infinite ammo, and invincibility). What Paintball mode does is replace all bullet holes with colorful paintball splatters. A room littered with bullet holes is instead a very bright, colorful, pleasing, room. If you use a gun like the RC-P90 (which shoots at a rate of eight bullets per second) or a shotgun (which makes five paintball spatters per shot) to spray a wall with bullets, you can turn a dark room seem much brighter. Because of the larger size of each paintball splatter, you are able to write letters, words, and pictures that stand out on a wall. What sucks is that if there are too many paintball marks on a wall, the old ones start to disappear, and that explosions don't create paintball splatters. If you shoot and hit an enemies gun or helmet, a paintball mark will appear there, too. Paintball mode also works for multiplayer.
