After many weeks of experimenting with Final Fantasy VII, I have discovered a sure fire way to Ressurect Aeris without much hackery. However, this requires a gameshark. All you have to do is enter the code, 8009CC80-905F and look into your inventory when the game has started. Look way far down into your inventory. Now keep moving that hacked pile of 1/35 soldiers over and over to different spots in your inventory. The 9 soldiers will produce another 9 soldiers and so on and so on. Keep doubling them until you have exactly 450 soldiers made up of many piles of 9. Next, go to the sleeping man directly east of junon on disk 2 by using the Highwind and give him all of those soldiers and he will offer to ressurect Aeris if you give him those. This cinema is great. The reason there is a cinema is because squaresoft intended Aeris to be ressurected, but had to get ff7 on the shelves by the deadline. This left the game with a cinema that had already been done but was floating around. Now, he will say to meet him at the center of the city of the ancients. Surprise, surprise, the fish that blocks the way to where Aeris died is now gone. Now go directly to the spot where Aeris died and you will see the 1/35 soldier crazed man. This is where the cinema takes place. If you went on the date with Aeris at the gold saucer, she will be ressurected. HOWEVER, if you didn't and you where visited by someone else then soldier crazed man will say he cannot channel powers. NO WORRIES, There is a back-up way to res Aeris which is to get the key for sector 5 and visit her church. There the soldier crazed man will meet you by surprise. Remember, this way of ressurecting Aeris is ONLY if she couldn't be ressurected in the city of the ancients. The soldier crazed man will say that here is her promised land that she could not stay dead for this place is where she will have supreme happiness. He channels the power and ressurects her. This is probably the best cinema there. Sit back and enjoy.
