Terrans need high technology units if they wish to succeed against the Zerg and the Protoss in warfare. The behemoth battlecruiser is a magnificent unit to use in destroying the enemy encampments. Going for battlecruisers is a long road ahead and the enemy might even eliminate you first before even making a single one. These are strategies on how to use battlecruisers to attack the enemy.

The first thing to do is to survive long enough for you to make a fleet of battlecruisers. This fleet may be 4 to 6 or if you can make the battlecruisers' number 8 and above. Survival does not mean you will defend for the rest of the game, if you can finish off your opponent then please do so. Use a lot of marines and plenty of bunkers. Upgrade the marines and use them to attack the enemy. Turrets and bunkers should be your defense if you want to save gas and use a vultures if needed. Bunker the enemy base to halt him from progress, keep producing marines to attack and build up defenses and at the same time grabbing gas resource spots for expansion. Try to concentrate on defense and expansion first.

After making attacks and having a stable economy of gas and money, start climbing thee technology tree to battlecruisers. Construct 3 to 4 starports with control towers and a bunch of supply depots. You should have 2 to 3 barracks now and a battalion of 30+ upgraded marines and some medics. Start creating battlecruisers evenly among your starports. Utilize the marines to slowly weaken the enemy while your armada is under construction. After creating battlecruisers, you opponent is toast !
