Terran marines, those humans who walk the worlds carrying those tiny weapons that look like match sticks. The best of the best, marines. Indeed, I think that marines are the best unit in the game of Starcraft.

• They are among the cheapest attack units 50 minerals. And they have the best bargain sale! 50 minerals for a great unit.
• For the cheap cost, they have both air and land attack.
• Marines do normal damage of 6 and can be upgraded to 9 damage and 3 armor.
• Marines have a fair speed of movement and construction and cooldown.
• You can easily produce armies of marines due to the cheap cost.
• They are effective against almost every unit in Starcraft.
• Marines are useful all throughout the game and both in land and island games.
• With the stimpack technology, squads of marines can defeat enemy units even when you think your marines are outmatched.

• Early in the game, build lots of supply depots and a couple of bunkers and 3 to 4 barracks. Keep making scvs and mine endlessly. Then, pump out marines from your barracks and soon, you will have a huge army of marines in the early game for attack.
• Load 8 marines into a drop ship, unload the marines into an enemy's mineral field and stimpack them. Your opponenet's workers are toast.
• When you attack with marines, send in also medics to heal them and scvs to construct bunkers while the enemy units are busy defending.
• The U-238 upgrade is a must for any terran marine army to function effectively.
