Role: Trianni Bounty Hunter

Personal History: The enigmatic and dangerous Trianni bounty hunter known only by his code name Hobbes grew up on the mostly peaceful homeworld of the Trianni, and stood out in the mostly matriarchal society as exemplary. Like most Trianni, he was very dextrous, amazingly so when considering his large size. However, he always felt left out of most proceedings; he saw his peers advance in positions higher than he ever could, something he grew very bitter about. When the Trianni colonized the jungle world of Fibuli, he quickly took up the chance to get out and start life on his own. He met his wife on Fibuli, and started a small hunting and guide where he had his first and only son, Carnelak. Life seemed ideal.

However, as the years passed, the nearby Corporate Sector began to take an interest in Fibuli as well. After years of tension, the Corporate Sector began to annex Fibuli. The Trianni reacted violently, and a war between the CSA and the famous Trianni Rangers began. When the CSA landed troops, Hobbes fought back at first, finely honing his combat skills and gaining much prestige as a leader (especially with his son); that is, until his wife was killed by a CSA patrol and his son captured. Seeing nothing worth fighting for anymore, Hobbes escaped offworld, picked up his codename, and began the only profession he could with his skills; bounty hunting.

Hobbes became quite famous as a bounty hunter; the incredible ferocity of his attacks, combined with his intimidating figure and his like of large-scale weapons (such as the recently-obtained Plasma rifle) gave his targets a sense of fear. Though he worked for the Imperials early on, eliminating several Rebel cells and capturing criminals, his sense of honor that eventually drove him away. Some say the event that caused it was when Darth Vader met Hobbes in order to have him hunt down a fleeing Jedi by the name of Kenobi; however, Hobbes respected the Jedi too much, and turned Vader down. The fact that Hobbes escaped and survived this supposed encounter either proves his amazing skills, or proves that the story is just a bar legend. Regardless of its veracity, Hobbes got a warrant for his arrest from the Imperials (the details of which are unknown), and he fled to Hutt Space to begin working for them. He got an exclusive contract with Durga the Hutt, and began hunting for him. He had a remarkable record during this time, including several captures of Jabba the Hutt's entourage (and coming into conflict with the infamous Bobba Fett), as well as eliminating the anti-Hutt privateer Ga'p'tashi.

However, his biggest target came to him in the form of Torill Hendyker. After Hendyker avoided capture several times, Hobbes began to have an obsession with capturing the slippery rogue. He chased him down, asking to perform Durga's duties when they had a chance of conflict with Hendyker. The rivalry was honorable in a strange way, with Hobbes backing down when he knew he was beaten in a fight. However, it ended on Tarshon, when Hobbes was shot by Hendyker in a vicious fight. His one regret at the end was that he had abandoned his son; he had Torill tell Carnelak that he was sorry for it.

Personality: When on the hunt, Hobbes is fast, vicious, merciless, and overbearing. He enjoys stalking prey, then coming out of nowhere with large amounts of firepower, in order to catch his targets off gaurd. He does have a sense of honor, however; he will not accept certain bounties, and will retreat from a fight that he knows is lost. He also harbors a sense of guilt about his past; his son Carnelak escaped the CSA prisons and went on to become one of the few remaining guerilla leaders on Fibuli that fight the CSA. Hobbes knows Carnelak must be resentlful of his father's abandoning him and the fight on Fibuli.

Appearance: Hobbes is a large, cat-like Trianni. His 7 foot height and flowing golden mane tower over many, and his impressive musculature is quite intimidating. One of his hands has been cybernetically replaced after a bad wound, and now has retractable vibro-enhanced claws that he uses in melee combat to slice his foes open. He also wields the gigantic Plasma rifle that he carries on his back. His golden, cat-slit eyes are quite scary. His voice is deep and growly.
