There are many wonderful things in life, but there are always those times that you cannot seem to remember them.  You need them, you need to know what goes your way in life.  So here they are-- "The Joys of Life"....a few, anyway.  This is for anyone to read...I'll add more "Joys" periodically...for now, my collection is small. ( This is not due to lack of happiness, but due to lack of ability to word things so that anyone can understand.)  But these things may bring back memories and show you how wonderful life has been...and if you get ANYTHING out of these words I have displayed, then my purpose for this page has been fulfilled.  Just remember...NO ONE has led life with nothing good in it.  Hey, you obviously have the internet.  So don't tell me that that's not good...cuz it is.  And if you're already like "this is stupid," then don't read it.  Why bother?  But, anyway, here they are : The Joys of Life.

.) Laughter. Humans are very lucky-- they are the only animals (known to us anyway) that can experience true laughter. Laughter means a lot to us-- it can even help us to live longer. So why not enjoy laughter next time instead of taking it for granted?

.) Best Friends. You can get through anything with your best friend(s). If anything goes wrong, just tell them, and they'll help you. I am one of the lucky ones to have the friends that I do. Not many people can find friends like them. So, whatever has gone wrong, why not tell your best friend(s) about it-- or make a friend instead?

.) Having What You Need. Okay, so maybe this is a given, but do you realize how many people DON'T have what they need? Consider yourself lucky. Help someone...you never know what kind of person they could be if they have what they need.  The one person in this world that thinks exactly like you could be starving...dying...and you don't even know it.   A future singer, actor, director...just because people are starving DOESN'T mean that they're not important.  Go to thehungersite.com.  If you don't, you're a loser.  Sorry, it's giving food at no cost to you.  Do it!

.) A Smile. A smile-- just one, simple smile can make a HUGE difference, even in a person's whole life.  We all have bad days -- a smile will make us feel better.  Depression and stress are becoming sooo widespread that it's really upsetting.  And how much effort does it take to smile?  Come on, it's not that hard -- it can even make you feel better.

.) Being "Stupid."  Ok, so MOST people do act different when no one is there...like singing your heart out to your favorite song no matter how old it is or dancing your heart out no matter how bad you are.  I LOVE being stupid--and it's around a lot of people usually...but some people would never let the thought cross their mind.  So go to your room, close and lock the door, blast that radio and sing and dance!  Even try stuff around people you don't know, the ones who don't run screaming are the one's you'd rather be with anyway if you're just being yourself.

.) Expressing Yourself.  This sort of goes hand-in-hand with being "stupid," but it is sort of different.  Sometimes I form a strong opinion about something but don't tell people for my own good...or maybe just because they'd never understand.  So I write it down.  I figure that maybe someday someone will understand and then I will be able to remember.  I love looking back on stuff that I thought about years ago and realize how little I knew back then or how much I really did know.  I sometimes get a different meaning out of it.  I also write poems, write stories, draw, etc. to show how I feel.  And if I'm really mad I'll turn on the radio so loud that the house shakes and sing stuff that I didn't know I could say.  It's all a way to express feelings -- anything you do usually shows feelings...even the way you walk can tell people a little about yourself.  We're lucky that we can do this...some people can't -- the word "opinion" would mean nothing because their thoughts are focused on staying alive.  And my opinion is that everyone should be able to use their minds the way they were intended to be used -- to think, to understand, to opinionate.  And if you don't do this, then life is less to you than what it ever could be.  Make life more meaningful for yourself and even for others.
