Intel
The Intel processor family is currently the high end, most expensive, and most commom CPU's that you can buy in the market.
Current Intel speeds range from around 400 MhZ to 850 MhZ in the Pentuim II and III catagories. The Intel Pentium III processor has
powerful benchmark ratings, and preforms well under all conditions. The Pentium III preforms extremly well under internet and network conditions,

other processor.
AMD
The AMD processor family is one of extreme brilliance. It has gone from the K5 100Mhz processor all the way to the new Athlon 1 Ghz in just over ten years.
Currently the K6 and the Athlon family are on the market, and have prices that are cosiderably less than Intel prices.
The AMD Athlon
The Athlon is currently the most powerful chip that you can buy on the market. It is also the fastest, at a speed of 1 gigahert, 1000 megahertz.
