Welcom to Pibbs Team Fortress Classic Page. I've been playing TFC since early this year. TFC is a MOD for halflife with the focus of teamplay. Players choose different classes nine in all to defend and attack against the enemy team. Usually maps involve flag or keys carried from place to place to score points. Initially I thought TFC was pretty lame, until I discovered Hunted. Hunted is a map where instead of flags the objective is for the yeallow team (5 snipers) attampts to assasinate a rotund little president (the blue team). He is protected by heavy fire power (red team soldiers, HW guys and medics) who run around clearing a path for the presiddent to escape to his land rover at the other end of the map. Needless to say I took the role of sniper and have probably thought of every trick to get ole fatass right between the eyes. Eventually after being a hunted junkie for many months I slowly made my way into other TFC maps and started popping head. I still don't run flags but I have moved beyond sniping...sort of...now I play almost all classes with some ability but I tend to stick with Soldier, Spy and Engineeer. Still TFC will never be what Hallife is..
I think back and though I've always told everyone Halflfie is my first gun strafe game thats not entirely true. SiN was the first game I ever played but only in demo form a few weeks before I started on Halfllife. My distaste for TFC was apparent when I wouldn't even use my Halflife callsign Lazarus because I didn't want anyone to know I was playing the game. Time past everyone found out it was me anyway and so I just kept the name. Its nice because the logo is readily availlible which makes less work for me to change it from "put it in..." to "bullet in". Changeing my name between mods became a regular thing with the release of Counter-Strike I became Clay_Face as well. I don't hate TFC anymore but I hae to say it's not as fun as a packed Halflife server or a game of Cstrike but the game has its merit and I play it every so often. If your interested in playing me sometime look for me on EGG's house of Pain a server base out of Virginia Tech. I'd say thats my home course now and where you'll find me if I happen to be playing.
It was the server "EGG's House of Pain" after all w here I met up with the Elite Gamers Guild (EGG). Their a great bunch of TFCers to which I used to be a memeber. Unfortunatly there are other things besides halflfie and so I had to refocus my attention to classes and drop out of their clan.
