These are ancient and powerful marines, who may at one time have been sergeants, leutenants, or even captains. These champions are no longer are addressed by rank, but instead gather large warbands of followers, who attracted to their fury and might.

0-3 RENOWNED CHAOS CHAMPIONS .................................. 66 pts per model
These are ancient and powerful marines, who may at one time have been veterans, sergeants, or leutenants. These champions are no longer are addressed by rank, but instead gather warbands of followers, who attreacted to their fury and might. Often times these champions will not gather together warbands of there own, but will instead join those of exalted chaos champions.

0+ CHAOS CHAMPIONS .................................. 44 pts per model

These are ancient marines, who may at one time have been sergeants or even leutenants. These champions no longer are addressed by rank, but instead gather small warbands of followers, who attreacted to their fury. Ussually these champions will only be able to gather up small forces, and so will join the larger armies led by more powerful champions.

CHAMPION: The chaos champion is an exception to the normal rules regarding champions and squads -- he does not HAVE to lead a squad, altough he ussually will.

 

0-1 CHAOS CHAPLIANS .................................. 85 pts per model

These are the former chaplains, the skull faced dispatchers of the Emporers will. Now that they have turned to chaos, they are the mst fanatic worshipers of the chaos gods and are likely to win their favor. If these traitor chalains catch their fellow chaos marines acting in an ungodly way (un-chaos godly way of course), they will quickly kill the offending marine.

ARMOR: Power armor (3+) (if a khornate champion, then 2+)

WEAPONS: Bolt pistol, frag grenades, a croziuz arcanum, and a rosarius (4+). The chaplain may be given any weapons from the assault, basic, special, grenades, or armor lists.

WARGEAR/REWARDS: The chaplain may have up to 2 wargear cards. He may also have up to 3 reward cards, although he MUST have one.

MARK OF CHAOS: The chaplain will have the mark of his god. If he worships chaos undivided, then he may chose an additional wargear or reward card.

HAND OF GOD: The chaplain is utterly devoted to his chaos god, and will kill all those opposed. The chaplain must charge the nearest model who does not worship the same power as he does (unless he worships chaos undivided, then all chaos powers are considerd to be the same power). This includes enemy models as well as friendly models. Once he has charged, then he will fight in hth, and he will be controled by the enemy (the enemy will throw the dice) if he is fighting fellow chaos troops. In addition, if any chaos squads break within charge range of the chaplain, the chaplain must charge the broken squad. Once he has killed one model, then the squad will automatically rally, and will not break for the rest of the game.

The librarians of the chaos traitors still provide psychic support in battle, but they rarely act as record keepers. Some traitor librarians in khornate legions, mainly in the World Eaters, were put to death for being psychic. Others were sacrificed to the chaos gods. The few remaining are masters of both the ancient arts of the Librarian and the twisted powers of chaos.

MARK OF CHAOS: The librarian will have the mark of his god. If he worships chaos undivided, then he may chose an additional wargear or reward card.

LIBRARIAN: The librarian is a librarian, and so is a psyker. Lexicaniums have a psi-level of one, Codicers have a level of 2, and so on. Chaos librarians chose the chaos powers of their patron god as their primary discipline, and librarian and adeptus as their tertiary.

The techmarines of the traitor legions still maintain the ancient equipment left over from the heresy and still bless the guns and armor of their chapter, but they have also been placed in charged of the chapter's slaves. Each techmarine takes a squad of humans or beastman that he outfits with frenzon.

WEAPONS: Bolt pistol, and frag grenades. The chaplain may be given any weapons from the assault, basic, special, grenades, or armor lists.

WARGEAR/REWARDS: The techmarine may have up to 3 wargear cards. He may also have up to 1 reward card.

MARK OF CHAOS: The techmarine will have the mark of his god. If he worships chaos undivided, then he may chose an additional wargear or reward card.

TECHMARINE: The techmarine may repair broken vehicles in the same way as a loyalist tech-marine.

SLAVES: The techmarine may lead a squad of slaves. These slaves come out of the techmarines point value, and may be either humans or beastman. These humans and beastman are chosen from the cult army list, except the cultist squad does NOT include a magus, and you may not buy one to lead the squad -- the techmarine leads the squad. In addition the slaves may be equipped with frenzon at 3 pts each.

 

Squads

1+ CHAOS MARINE SQUADS .................................. 27 pts per model

Squads consist of 3-10 models. Not all marines in the squad need be identicaly armed, unless noted.

WEAPONS: Bolt pistols and frag grenades. Any may be given bolters (+3 pts), any may be given assault weapons, up to 1 out of every 2 marines may be given a special or a heavy weapon.

UPGRADES: (If purchased then you must purchase these for the ENTIRE squad)

Jump packs: 5 pts per model
Any grenades from the grenades list (must be identically armed)
Space Marine Bikes: 20 pts per model
Up to 1 Reward (see Chaos Rewards).

 

CHAOS MARINE VETERAN SQUAD ......................... 36 pts per model

Squads consist of 3-5 models. Not all marines in the squad need be identicaly armed, unless noted. You may have up to one veteran squad for every 3 normal squads.

WEAPONS: Bolt pistols and frag grenades. Any may be given bolters (+3 pts), any may be given assault weapons or special weapons, up to 1 out of every 2 marines may be given a heavy weapon.

UPGRADES: (If purchased then you must purchase these for the ENTIRE squad)

Jump packs: 5 pts per model
Space Marine Bikes: 20 pts per model
Any grenades from the grenades list (must be armed approriately).
The entire squad may be mounted on demons of the approriate god (see demon lists)

Or the entire squad may be given terminator armor with a storm bolter and a power claw for 27 pts. If they have been upgraded this way 1 of them may have a termi hvy weapon, and any may have termi assault weapons.

0-8 KHORNE BERZEKER SQUADS .................................. 38 pts per model

Squads consist of 3-8 models. Not all marines in the squad need be identicaly armed, unless noted.

ARMOR: Carapace armor (4+)

WEAPONS: Bolt pistols, and chain axes. Any may be given power axes instead of chain axes (+5), and up to 1 out of 2 may be given plasma pistols (+6). In addition all Khorne Berzerkers come with jump packs.

SPECIAL RULES: Khorne Berzerkers are both Weapon Masters, and suffer from Blood Frenzy. There profiles have already been adjusted by the rewards, but remember they suffer from frenzy.

 

0-7 NURGLE TALLY-MEN SQUADS .................................. 50 pts per model

Squads consist of 3-7 models. Not all marines in the squad need be identicaly armed, unless noted.

ARMOR: Power armor (3+)

WEAPONS: Bolt pistols, frag grenades, chainswords, and grenade launchers loaded with frag, choke, and hallucinegen grenades.

SPECIAL RULES: Tally-men are both surrounded by a Cloud of Flies, and have Hides of Nurgle. Their hides of nurgle have already adjusted the tally men's profile, and remember that they are surrounded by a Cloud of Flies.

 

0-6 SLAANESH SLAVE-MASTERS SQUADS .................................. 36 pts per model

Squads consist of 2-6 models. Not all marines in the squad need be identicaly armed, unless noted.

ARMOR: Power armor (3+)

WEAPONS: Bolt pistols, Hell-whips (see special rules), and chain swords. Up to 1 out of every 2 marines may be given plasma pistols (+6 pts).

SPECIAL RULES: Slave Masters are both Beast-masters, and carry Hell Whips. Since they are Beast-masters, each marine must have one slave. These slaves may be either beastman (+13 pts), or humans (+7 pts), and are armed with a hand weapon (a sword, sickle, axe, etc).

 

0-9 TZEENTCH SOUL-EATER SQUADS .................................. 79 pts per model

Squads consist of 3-9 models. Not all marines in the squad need be identicaly armed, unless noted.

ARMOR: Power armor (3+)

WEAPONS: Bolt pistols, and Plasma guns.

SPECIAL RULES: Soul-Eaters are both Magicians, and suffer from Estatic Duplication. The point value for a soul-eater does include a psi-level. Each additional psi-level costs 25 pts.

 

Support

Any support drawn form any space marine support list (either Space Wolves, Ultramarines, or Angels of Death. In addition, any allies drawn from the Cult list, the Demon World list, and the Ork list.

 

Use the wargear list in Ultramraines codex, the basic black codex, or Angels of Death. The main differences are armor and heavy weapons:

For armor, you may only take one selection, and one of them is a jump pack, for 12 pts.

For Heavy weapons, use this list:

1
