History of The Silver Blades

         Lachesis, Thrall, Bob Sham Bob, Ryche, and Myself (thanvalenius) all hail from the same village. I left out to see the world some 50 year before the others where viewed as adults. I came back and meet up with them and we set out for Waterdeep for a life of adventure. While in Waterdeep we encountered a young human that ended up adventuring with us. While there we solved a mystery that involved a high-power mage. One of his apprentices was involved in stealing dead bodies and looting the graves of Waterdeeps wealthy sect. Whether or not the mage was involved we could not prove, but we suspect he was.

         After Waterdeep we were hired to escort some spell components to Thaster up in Thurmaster about ten days journey through the mountains. When we arrived in Milbourne we had another chance at greatness. The man who runs the inn asked us if we could find his fiance Jalenith. She is a apprentice of Thaster, and disappeared from her room without a sound and all of her belongs still there. So we venture and deliver Thasters supplies and he tells us more of her disappearance. So we venture all through the area, and on the way we end up saving a young boy who can transform into a were-bear. Eventually we arrive in the underdark, and are given quests by the colony of Gnomes who live there. They tell us that if we pass there tests they will give us aid in finding Jalenith. Well we piss them off and they refuse to give us any help (And unfortunately we can't just kill them). So we go deep underground and encounter a Shadow dragon and whoop his ass in a big way. After the battle we encounter a lost colony of rock Elves. They treated us fairly and gave us some very powerful magic items. After the elves we decide to attack the City of the Glass Pool, an Illithiad held city, but who cares we are a bunch of dumb asses. The party is kicking ass until we encounter 2 illithiads and a patrol of duerger (deep-dwarves), we kill them all and right as we are killing the last illithiad he hits Jack Blades and sends him to the abyss. We then retreat from the city and prepare to go to the abyss in search of him.

        When we reach the abyss we are attacked by a bunch of fat bastard that we readily kill. We finally find him and he is being held by a True and a Lesser Tanari. He sends us on a mission to kill 2 pit fiends, he tells us we have forty eight hours to kill the first one. He teleports us to within a mile of where the first one is, we prepare and regain our lost spells and get ready for battle. When we enter the building we encounter no resistance at all from the Order of Black Cloths. When we get to the main audience chamber we discover that they are about to sacrifice a virgin to the pit fiend, so of course we storm in to prevent this act, when we enter there are about fifty clerics who don't exactly like the fact that we are there and try to remove us; bad idea. Most of them are attacking with maces, but some of the more powerful clerics attack with spells. After a few minutes of combat they are all dead. There is a secret door that leads to the pit fiend in a hidden room at the back of the audience chamber. Once in there we see a young mage that is foolishly trying to contain this pit fiend by ways of a scroll, his attempt fails and the pit fiend rips him from shoulder to waist. After that happens we rush in and destroy the bastard, sending him back to the hell he deserves.
