-    to get into the second room in Lt. Surge's gym you have to look in two garbage cans in the row nearest to the door and and on the right side
ex. row nearest door: o o o o x x o| the Xs represent the garbage cans which contain the switches for the door and | represents the right wall.

    -    to get HM04 (strength) you have to give the Warden in Fuchsia City (city with Safari Zone) the gold teeth which you should have picked up.

    -    to get the sliph scope you have to go to the game corner and hit the switch behind the poster. A door opens in the room and you go into it. You then find your way to the end of team rocket's base and fight Giovani (team rocket boss). When you beat him he dissapears and you find a man who gives you the sliph scope.

    -    to get HM03 (surf) you must find the special house in the Safari Zone. The house is deep in the Saffari Zone. There you win a prize from the man and that prize is the HM.
