Takahide Nishiro is the result of a union between Arai Tokai, exiled brother of the Lord Arai Tetsuo, and a woman of dubious background.With a past shrouded in sorcery and dishonour, Nishiro was raised by the Takahide family from when he was two years old. As he came of age, he was named a samurai in service of his uncle, although his education in courtly and martial matters was largely neglected. Indeed, the code of bushido does not appeal to his nature, instead his feelings are harnessed towards the goal of exploring his mystical heritage. |
