affiliate sites: i'm working on a new affiliate site to be completed simultaneously with "Legendary." it's the official homepage of my newly renamed comic book company 502 Studios. at launch, it will be where you can find "Legendary" for free viewing.
"Legendary":ok, here's THE big news for all you pokefreaks out there. i've started work on a brand new pokemon comic, and it will be an online exclusive! it's a series of 3 issues, called "Legendary." it will deal with most of the legendary pokemon, and it basically follows the path of my personal adventures in the game, from being undefeated to the use of my master ball (here's a hint...i caught mewtwo with a GREAT BALL!). it won't be drawn in manga style, but as a change of pace i'm drawing very realistically (for a sample of my art check out the sketchbook). most of the first issue deals with articuno...definitely look forward to it. as a bonus, a production report is scheduled to be released with the comic, with photos, etc.
on a side note, i won the second local poke tournament recently, so i'm still undefeated (i won the first one of 90 competitors too). if you want to know my team, (it's awesome) all will be revealed in the "Legendary" series. thanks for visiting the site, and check back after a while.
while working on "Legendary," i made my first true effort to draw a pokemon as though it were a real creature. basing articuno on photos of a peregrine falcon (you'll be able to read about this and more in the production report to be released with the comic), i created what i feel is an image worthy of being included in my sketchbook section.
you can go NOW to the sketchbook section and check the new drawing out (it's image nine). hopefully this will generate some positive buzz about the comic and will get you faithful readers to look forward to it.
okay, i want to know what you think! not just about the articuno image, but you can write about that too. tell me what you like/don't like about the site, because a major design revamp will be unveiled about the time that the comic comes out (hopefully before 2000). i want your feedback! please e-mail comments to:
