Thubanus shrugs. "Very well. Follow me then." He stands from his rocky perch and guides you around some of the rocks nearby, and around to the other end of the island, where an escarpment stretches perhaps 50 meters high from the water around it. Climbing over rocks at the base of the escarpment, he guides you directly to a place where the faint outline of a separate rock can be seen, which is about the height of a man. Had you been passing by it without thinking, you would not have noticed it. Yet, he touches a place on the rock and this portion slides away with a low rumbling noise.
"This way," he says, then steps into the darkness of the cave. Following him in, you notice that some of the crystals on the walls of the cave seem to glow faintly. He leads you down a set of rough hewn stairs and through an archway into a room with a high arched ceiling. As you stare around the room, you notice the abundance of runes written on the walls, which reflect golden back to you, make the room seem to radiate a power that causes the hair on the back of your neck to stand up. Around the room are 4 pillars, and in the center of the room is a pedestal made of the same marble as the floor that you are standing on, with three steps leading to the top of the pedestal. On top of the pedestal are two obelisks, made of pure silver.
You watch as Thubanus moves toward a place on the wall and presses his hand against it, then beckons for you to follow him to the pedestal. You notice then a blue arc of electricity shooting from one of the pillars to one of the obelisks, then another and another and another. Light envelops the room as the obelisks begin glowing. Electricity begins jumping between the two obelisks. Then a line of light appears between the obelisks and widens until it covers the entire space between them. He gestures to the doorway now standing before you as mist begins pouring out of it. "The gates of Allonon now stand open to you. Farewell!"

My Other Places... | |
The Watchtower... | This is my attempt at using a blog on Xanga.com. I have some other friends that I link to there, but it is a predominantly internal network. I think the best way to really explain it is to send you there... |
Rampart of the Watchman | This is my MSN member spaces page that has some more recent pictures and some other great stuff. But I must warn you, the MSN spaces community is a locked community, so you will need your own account to get in. |
Friend's Pages | |
Clint Endacott | One of my friends that I met at and worked with at First Baptist Church in Prince George, British Columbia. He's a really cool guy, and a fellow writer as well! He showed me to his site the other day, and I enjoyed looking at it. If it is poetry that you want, Clint's page is the place to go. |
Nahum and Shelly Ip | These are some dear friends of mine and an influence of my own faith. Nahum and Shelly did a lot of work with InterVarsity at UNBC and CNC when I was still there, which was instrumental in my life. I hope that this tribute on my page is enough to show my appreciation for our friendship. |
Danielle Prudhomme | A talented young lady that I met during my brief stay in Waterloo, Ontario, Danielle is the daughter of Pastor Lori Prudhomme of Living Word Community Church in Kitchener, the city that is joined with Waterloo. I also had the pleasure of meeting Danielle on CF, a forum that I post occasionally on... |
Churches... | |
Eastbridge Community Church | This was a church that I briefly pastored between June of 2004 and October of 2004, in Waterloo, Ontario, which is a city located about 1 1/2 hour's drive west from Toronto. The website does contain some of my own sermons, as well as the sermons of other pastors there. |
Tyndale University College and Seminary | This is the college where I got my Bachelor of Religious Education Degree, and I spent between 2001 and 2004 here as a student. However, I still do visit my friends there, and I still use the library resources from time to time. It was a good school to go to. |
Toronto Church of the Living God | This is the church that I am affiliated with in Toronto, Ontario. I first joined with them in the summer of 2002 and have been with them ever since. It is a great community of people with a distinct Persian and Arminian flavour, and the vision of its Pastor, Hany Boghossian, is for church unity and for truth, which are very similar to my own. |
First Baptist Church, Prince George BC | This is the church that I am affiliated with in Prince George, British Columbia. I have been a member since December of 1998, a few months after I became a Christian. I still visit there whenever I go back to visit family, and I can personally vouch for the witness of the church here. |

Personality Tests/Personality Type Theory
The Big 5 | This test looks at the 5 Traits theory of personality psychology. It is interesting, though it is not necissarily my preferred theory. |
Socionics | This site has a very interesting take on the Myers-Briggs personality inventory. It does have a lot of interesting information, which I have read through on a few occasions. |
David Kiersey Temperament Site | David Kiersey, in his Please Understand Me series, takes the main MBTI theory and divides the 16 types into 4 main categories. His perspective has helped my own rather limited and amateur-esque understanding about the MBTI theory. As an INFJ, I would fit into Kiersey's Idealist type. |
Picture Test | For all of you who would rather not answer a whole bunch of questions with the same multiple choice answers, try this one. All you have to do is pick the picture that you like the best. Try it out, see how it is for you... |
Queendom Personality Tests | Hey! You there! If you are a test junky, then here is the place for you. Just visiting this site has revealed that there are way too many tests for one sitting. (even for a known test junky like me!) check it out, and you'll see what I mean. |
Emode.com | Yet another site filled with tests. This site is full of them... |
MAPP Appraisal Site | Although it may not seem at first like a personality site, and more like a business resource site, the MAPP test is a personality test looking at your interests, skills, strengths, and weaknesses, then returning a personal profile back to you, including some potential career paths that you might want to consider, if you are still unsure about these kinds of things... |
AlltheTests | Although not all of the tests are present on this site as the name may imply, the collection that is present on this site is quite impressive and extensive. The tests range from IQ tests to personality tests to Knowledge Tests. If you are a true test junkie, which I'm guessing that you are if you're reading this, then check this site out! |
About INFJ's | This site has a lot of information on the personality type INFJ which, incase you weren't aware of by now, I am one of those. I believe that the author of the website is still working on it, her site and knowledge on INFJ's is a good addition to anyone's repertoire. |
Christianity and Faith...
Christian Forums | Probably one of the largest of forums for Christians that I have found so far, CF is an interdenominational online ministry that spans around the world. I joined this forum in September of 2004 under the handle of "Highland Watchman". I have found it to be a good place of community. |
www.thetruereligion.org | This is a site comparing Christianity and Islam, which is an interest that I have developed slightly over recent months. There is a lot of discussion on the place of Christ within the Islamic religion and also the question of the truth. If this is also an area of interest for you, visit their site. |
theonet.net | Although there is likely more stuff on here than just this specific site on the discerning of true and false prophets, there is a lot of good information on this subject. Yes, I do have an interest in prophecy... |
Other Links of Interest
Addicting_Games.Com | This is a gaming site that I have checked out a few times, though I haven't been there too much. However, there are several people that I know who have been known to frequent this site a lot during the heavy procrastination time and also during times of boredom. |
FlamingText.com | Ever wonder where you get the really cool banners with the various effects? This site is an excellent one for making the various banners for different areas and names, as presented on this site, along with many others. There are other cool effects that they offer as well. |
If you have changed your mind, perhaps you would like me to shut the gate and we could go back to where we met.
Or, perhaps I could send you back to where you entered Ei'dal.
