*- Later mentioned items Ryu- He is the main character of the game. He is a member of the Brood*. He starts in a small mine in the Dauna Region. There he caused some trouble in his dragon(whelp) form. He was captured and put on a train. He escaped from the train, and then joins Rei. He and Rei become close friends. All other information on Ryu will be on the walk through page, when it is up, or later on this page. Rei- He finds Ryu when Ryu escapes from the train. Ryu is surrounded by some wolves and Rei saves him. He then takes Ryu up to his house, even though he does not have enough food to keep him. Rei also is a mugger. He and Teepo*, the other person staying there, both are considered evil by the Villagers because they take money from them. When Ryu is helped by Rei, he becomes part of the gang. Rei then believes that it is his responsibility to keep Teepo and Ryu from harm. Teepo- He is in the same gang as Rei and Ryu. He was found by Rei in the same manner as Ryu. Together, Rei and Teepo cause quite a bit of trouble in McNiel Village. At one point they try to Mug a strong and wise man named Bunyon. When in his house, he captures them and makes them work for the money. They then all go to kill a monster that has been attacking all of the wild life and all become heroes. Then they rob Mr. McNiel. After that, they are attacked by some Mobsters and Teepo is "killed"*. Nina- She is the Princess of Wyndia. She is very weak when attacks are concerned, but she has very strong magical capabilities. She runs away from the castle and follows Ryu after the attack by the mobsters. Together they become close friends. Her mom believes that Ryu is why all the trouble has started, but it was really the mobsters, Bailo and Sunder, who cause all the trouble.
Momo- She is a very mechanically inclined woman. She is found in the Temple. There you find out all about Chrysm* and how it helps things advance. She has a very powerful weapon, the bazooka, and has many status magics to help. Momo finds out that her father was working in a plant nearby. You all go there to see if it could help to get out of the area. There you are told to clear the Dump of a evil character. Honey- This is a small robot that runs off of chrysm. It follows Momo most of the time, but sometimes it has a mind of its own and goes where it pleases. It helps Nina twice by leading her to an exit from the castle, when she is trapped there. Also, Honey likes to play many hide-and-seek games with the party. Honey helps Nina escape from the castle when she is young and when they grow up. When Nina is grown, Honey deciphers a binary code to cause a teleporter to open and saves Nina from sure jailing. Pecoros (aka Peco)- He is an onion-creature who is spawned by the evil character in the Dump. The evil creature in the Dump gives you Peco because it doesnt want the same mistake made twice. He quickly becomes attached to Momo and becomes a very important asset to the party. He has mystical powers that allow him to regenerate his HP when it is diminished. He gains HP faster than any other player in the game. Garr- He is the enemy the Battle of Champions*. You fight him but cannot defeat him. After the Battle, he asks for his reward, and it is you. You join Garr and he says that you have to go to the Checkpoint before a bridge. On your way to the Bridge you meet Bailo and Sunder for the last time. You along with Garr's help defeat the two mobsters. You then find out that he is a Guardian and that he was the one that killed most of the Brood. He realizes his mistake and becomes Ryu's friend.
