| Chu Chu is the lovable monkey/mouse from Shoujo Kakumei Utena (Revolutionary Girl Utena). Although mainly used for Comic Relief, Chu Chu actually has some important points in Utena. If you would like to know more about Shoujo Kakumei Utena go here. | |
| Why Chu Chu? | |
| Well that's easy...He's just solo cute. C'mon Chu Chu has that dumb charm. Forget smart animal sidekicks like Artemis and Luna. One's with quick lines like Kero-chan Or even those with Magic sensibilities like Mokona. Chu Chu gets right to the point, all he wants to do is eat and be marry. No fuss no muss. But even as simple as Chu Chu can be he definite has his dark side (just like everything in Utena does). | |

| Chu Chu isn't one of the more
complicated characters in Utena, however my friends and I have come up
with some cool theories about our lovable monkey/mouse. For
instance, Take a good look at how he's dressed. Hmm...Tie...ear
ring...belongs to Anthy who else in her life is like that......
Chu Chu also has a mortal enemy....ok he has two mortal enemies. The first one is obvious....
No one knows why Saionji hates Chu Chu so much. Some believe Saionji is jealous of Chu Chu because he is so close to Anthy and protects her. While others tend to believe that Chu Chu just stole his lunch one day, forever making him angry. I tend to go with the latter...
His other enemy is the mysterious Kero-chan(no not the kawai lion from Card Captor Sakura) but the alligator thing only briefly seen in the Utena movie. There rivalry is unknown, but knowing Chu Chu he probably once again stole some poor souls lunch. Or Maybe Saionji hired Kero-chan to terrorize Chu Chu for him...hey being Vice President of the Student Council is time consuming. |

Now that you know a little about Chu Chu let's all do what he loves. Food. Choose your food wisely, Chu Chu might eat it, but it doesn't mean it's good for him.
