Open The Door	Finally, the first short story of mine to grace this gradually growing site. This story was a lot of fun to write, but a pain in the ass to code in hypertext. Just adding italics took up most of my coding time. Technicals aside, I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did when I developed it. Oh, and by the way, if anyone reading this piece thinks that the main character's self esteem issues are unjustified, then you obviously have never had to hate yourself before. This character actually has a more fortified ego that I do, so I think I know how to write these things.
