One of my favourite hobbys is the old ATARI 1040ST.A very nice and relieable machine
for MIDI-recording and a box of fun with lots of cool games.Beside there is a very good
programingtool with the name STOS.I use the 2.04version of STOS which is mostly a
very special basic with a lot of special editors for sprites,music and other stuff.
The program is copyright by MANDARIN/JAWX 1988 and in germany it was distributed
by ARIOLA-SOFT-GmbH. If you`re interested in programing the ATARI ST, STOS is a
very easy way to start with. STOS is called a gamecreator but it is much more a special
Basicversion for all kinds of apllications.There is also a easy to use STOS-Compiler which
transports your STOS-Basiccode into standard PRG-code. After compiling you can run your
programs on a ST1040without the STOS is installed on the ATARI.
