PROFILE OF KYOU
Messages:

~Galen~
This is my fourth Character, "The Psychic Experiment."
Name: Kyou Ashura
Age: 18
Height: 5’ 11
Weight: 170
Race: Human (Injected with angel and demon DNA)
Appearance: He has wild blood red hair, and red eyes to match. He wears a sleeveless black shirt under a red jean jacket. Around his forehead is a long black bandana. He wears black gloves, and black arm bands. He also wears red sunglasses. On his lower body he wears gray pants with black stripes going down each side.
Items: Sureiya, a steel 4-½ foot double-sided sword, which can be separated into two separate swords. It’s named after his dead lover. On his side is a steel foot long throwing blade.
History: Created on Dnegel, an island floating near the frozen tundra of Salvar; Kyou was part of a project to create the perfect warrior. The man who funded the project, and paid the scientist to undergo the experiments was intending to use them to control all of the neighboring nations of althanas. So the scientist started work on Project: Kyou. They created a human embryo and heightened the power of its brain through multiple neuron stimulations.
As the embryo grew over the next ten years in a large vitality chamber, they injected two different types of DNA into him; one of an angel, and another of a demon. They did this in hopes of enhancing his abilities. The injection changed the color or his eyes to red and further tapped into the unlocked power of the human mind. Eventually they let him out after a year of transmitting data of fighting skills and various weapon trainings directly into his brain’s long-term memory. He spent the next seven years being put through test, training sessions, and examinations; though no signs of his special ability were shown.
He was tired of it, and he wanted to see the outside world and what more life had to offer besides being under a microscope his whole life. He became close with one of the younger female scientists, whose name was Sureiya. She was 19 when she first started working on Project: Kyou, but that was three years ago. Kyou trusted her and in her, found someone to confide in, and vice versa. She wanted to leave the laboratory, and take Kyou with her.
On the night they were to leave, Sureiya came early to his small room, which he deemed similar to a cell. She gave him a weapon she had manufactured, and told him to accept it as a gift as part of the compensation for all he’s been through. As they were turning to leave, one of the scientists came down; it was the supervisor, Dr. Nigawa; who was Sureiya’s father. He questioned his daughter about what she was doing, when he was shot from behind. Sureiya ran to her father as he fell to the ground. Behind him were a few of the companies’ hit men. It seems that the leader had grown impatient with the lack of progress from the project which he was funding, and sent them to put a stop to it. Then before Kyou could do anything, leader of the hit squad then shot Sureiya. Kyou rushed to her side and she lay in his arms dying. Her last words to him were “I love you Kyou.” With her feelings now professed, Kyou said he loved her back as she faded into eternal darkness.
Inside his body, Kyou could feel his anger rising, but there was more. There was the feeling of power, the taste for revenge in the air. The cowardly hit men raised their guns to Kyou as he stood slowly. Firing their handguns at him, the bullets stopped in mid air in front of him, then dropped to the ground. Panicking, they fired round after round at him, but no bullet connected with him, quite a few deflected off a barrier and struck the equipment in the lab. Using the sword that had been given to him, he killed his lover’s killers as the laboratory started to blow a fuse. Quickly, Kyou grabbed Sureiya’s dead body and carried her outside, where he saw the sun for the first time. Carrying her away from the self- destructing lab he dug her a grave. Then he looked at the weapon that she had made specifically for him,
“The weapon stained of the blood, of the one who spilled the blood of my loved one. You have no name, fine. Then the only name I see fit for you is…Sureiya.”
This way he’d never forget her when he kills the one man who caused his pain. Then he finally collapsed from a power overload, having used so much of his power that he was just learning to control. When he awoke the next morning, he forgot about most of the events that took place. The only memories he kept, were the ones of Sureiya, and the power that was bestoyed upon him. And he will use it, to right all wrongs, and for the good of others if it's the last thing he'd do.
Skills: Being a psychic, he can levitate slightly and can move light objects.
Magic:
Psychosphere: a ball of pure psychic energy that does moderate damage.
Futuresight: Allows him to read his opponents moves better than usual.
Psychic overload: Heightens his power for 4 posts, allowing him to manipulate larger objects, and gives him the ability to fly.
