Emerging from the doorway, you step into a large stone room shaped like a shallow cross. Each of the four wings extend back five feet and stop at a wall ten feet across. In front of each wing is a pedestal with a metal plate on it identifying the items beyond. You walk to the nearest and read:
Battle Axes
Throwing Axes
You look up and see axes of various size and shape hanging on the walls:
Shaking your head in amazement at the size of some of those monsters, you turn to the middle wing opposite the door. Reaching the pedestal, you look down and see
Maces and Flails
Hung on the walls are rows of maces and flails. Some have wicked spikes and barbs, while others appear to be nothing but metal clubs:
You shudder at the thought of being hit with one of those, and turn to the last wing. The plate upon this pedestal reads
Polearms and Halberds
Surveying the shiny poles and pikes, you notice that some are too long to be hung acros the ten foot wall, and have to be proped up in a corner:
