(Q)What to do during a tourney when your opponent is lagging big time and the ping is fine? The first time my pard and I did......and the second time we asked if there be a problem. The answer was they were on the phone. I do understand there are times we all have to brb or take a call, but to not announce it and let your opponents wonder, especially during a tourney is rude. I also understand that the tourney is to be fun, which my pard and I do enjoy, just wondering how to deal with this if it happens again. Thanks!!! |

(Bookmark the page for future easy access!) | (A) You are EXACTLY right in stating that holding up a game in the manner described is EXTREMELY rude!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully, an occurrence such as this is the exception, rather than the rule! While there is really nothing that the tourney hosts can do about people behaving like this (unless the problem IS a recurring one), most regular euchre players will shun playing with teams that exhibit such behavior. So our answer is: Do nothing, there are always going to be people that have little regard for common courtesy!!!!!!! |
