Kevin Keene/Captain N

The hero, and the one that the Ancient Prophecy spoke of, the Game Master.
Kevin is a high school kid from Northridge, California, that was brought to VideoLand to defeat the evil Ganon and save VideoLand. On Earth, Kevin was team captain of the varsity baseball team at Northridge High. He fell in love with Princess Lana the moment he eyes on her. He has to deal with competition for Lana's affections from Simon Belmont.

Megaman

Robot warrior, and hero of MegaLand.
Megaman is a robot that was created by Dr. Theodore Light, the second of two Bioroids. He is from MegaLand. His nemesis is the evil Dr. Wily, who is bent on conquering MegaLand. Megaman joined the VideoLand royal guard to help defeat the evil Ganon. He also has a robodog named Rush. He also has a robotic twin "brother" named Protoman, who has a tendency to vanish after helping his younger twin.

Simon Belmont

A warrior from CastleVania, vampire hunter from one of two families that battle the evil Dracula.
Simon Belmont is a vampire hunter from the creepy world of CastleVania. His nemesis is the evil Dracula. Simon joined the royal to help defeat Ganon. Much like the rest of his family, he has a huge ego the size of Alaska, and he is constantly worried about his appearance. He has a crush on Princess Lana, who likes Kevin, which makes Simon jealous.

Reinhardt Schneider

Vampire hunter from CastleVania, and Simon's cousin, member of the Belmount Clan.
Reinhardt is from the Belmount Clan, one of two related families that battle the evil Dracula. The Belmounts changed their family name two hundred years ago because people were confusing them with the mostly egotistical Belmonts, and vise versa. Reinhardt is constently having to watch out for his cousin Simon Belmont while fighting evil. He joined the royal guard to help stop Ganon, and defeat Dracula.

Kid Icarus

Hero and Prince of Angel Land, descendant of Pit Icarus.
Kid Icarus is the warrior prince of Angel Land, and is descended from Angel Land's first hero, Pit Icarus. He joined the royal guard to help fight Ganon when Ganon's armies killed his parents, and brought with him the powerful Sacred Arrow, one of the Three Sacred Weapons of Angel Land.

Link

Hylian Knight, and Hero of Hyrule.
Link is descended from one of the three Hylian Gods, the God of Wisdom, and this has given him immense powers. Ganon is from his world, and Link feels a responsibility to help the rest of VideoLand batle Ganon's evil Alliance. He joined the royal guard at Princess Zelda's request,. and has taken it upon himself to train Kevin to become the great hero that the Prophecy said he would be.

Princess Lana

Princess and Ruler of VideoLand.
Princess Lana is the current Ruler of VideoLand. Her father, King Marcus, was kidnapped and banished into a place called the Mirror World. Since her brother, Prince Lyle, doesn't want to, Lana must rule in her father's absence. Having been through eight years of war with Ganon and his Alliance of Evil, this teenager's been through a lot! She is well trained in the art of self defense, and has training in various weapons and some magic.
