Here is some info that I know. Me and my dad were fixing my cousins computer. So we fixed it and wanted to put StarCraft in. Now he has a IBM PS1 386 (340 meg hard drive 16 megs of ram and 8 speed cd rom) A very old and slow computer! But we go ahead and put in the spawn version of StarCraft. We get home call him and get a game up. We connected ok. We have a 336 modem and he has a 144 modem! Big differnce! But it connected. So Im going the play will be so slow that it will be impossible to play. Not true, it had lag but, ive seen worse on battlenet. So if you think your computer is too slow or too old to play StarCraft. NOPE!! Go buy it now.
Some more information, If you try to put the orginal copy of StarCraft on someone elses computer and play it will not work. As we found out on putting it in on my cousins computer. We tried to play but it would not. Beacause we had version 1.01 and he had 1.00 so that is why. So if trying to put a spawn in have a copy of the updated version on your computer.
