This author has tried his best to make sure that the site adheres to the HTML 4.01 standards. Or at least he likes to think he has. It has been tested on:
All of which are used by the author. So, users with the above browsers, no complaints if the site doesn't render nicely on your screen. As for those with other browsers, my apologies if it does not. If so, please feel free to contact the author with any suggestions that will help improve matters.
This site was NOT built for any specific screen resolution, so palm pilot users, you may rejoice. The colour might not be suitable, but at least the page will render within the limits of the considerably smaller screen size.
This site makes use of some PNG images, therefore, users with browsers that still have no support for the PNG image format: You may notice some images won't load. Don't worry, your browser's not broken.
There is NO Java or Javascript used on this website. If Javascript effects are observed while you puruse the site, they are not mine.
All digital images on this website, unless specified otherwise, were created with the Windows edition of The GIMP. Or at least, they were coloured in the GIMP. I'm a little too poor to buy myself a copy of Adobe Photoshop at the moment, even at student prices.
This webpage currently resides on Yahoo!Geocities , the Internet's bastion of mediocrity. It's not terribly reliable, especially with its bandwidth cap, and is prone to throwing javascript ads at you, but I'm not planning to move. I'm fairly satisfied with wallowing in mediocrity for the time being. Until Yahoo! utterly repulses me... Well, there you go. =)
Well, whadda'ya know? As of recent, Yahoo!Geocities is withdrawing its FTP services from all its non paying customers. Well la-de-dah. Okay, from a business point of view, I can see why. Bandwidth is not cheap, and with all the freebies hogging ftp, things really slow down. Time equals money, as they say. I don't personally like this move, but okay, at least I can understand why they are doing this... or at least I think I do. Still, one more peg on the customer dissatisfaction board for me. At least the webspace is still free, and they've finally waived the restrictions on file formats slightly, so I can now use a single cascading style sheet file to control the styles for the entire site. There's a kind of love-hate relationship going on here.
