When you get ahold of a fish, it's okay. You see the fish fighting and being pulled in through an underwater view. When you are waiting for a bite, though, there is just plain background(trees, water, a pier, etc). No movement besides the water. The people just sit there. Not alot of stuff.
Sound: 4.5
Such a relaxing game should have relaxing music. Nope. It doesn't have fast-paced music, but too fast for a game like this. There really are no sound effects. Just the splash of water and the sound of the fish snapping the line.
Control: 6.5
The thing that gets on my nerves is when you want to start reeling him in, you have to pull the pole back(the [R] button in the back), and it is very hard to time it right. It takes alot of practice.
Funfactor: 6.5
You NEED patience to play this game. If you don't have patience, don't play it. Me, I'm half and half. It annoys me when the fish breaks off the line. If you have patience and like fishing, this game is good for you. Virtual Fishing is relaxing.
3D effects: 3
Well, the only 3D is the fish as he swims. Even that is minimal.
