Tuckborough An open cobblestone square bustling with people and sounds, a sensible spot for the heart of Tookland. The town is a busy one, with an abundance of residences and shops. There is a path up a hill to the southwest and another leads southwards to a more rural district. An old tree stands in the northwest corner of the square, and there are several postings upon it. A comfortable wooden bench sits next to the tree, where hobbits often sit to relax. The square is illuminated by a warm light pouring out of the windows of the bakery. Malbo walks into the centre of Tuckborough, smoking a long, well-carved pipe. He whistles in between blowing smoke rings. He looks around and sees a fellow hobbit, Omfast. He walks over to him and greets him, "Good day to you. Would you be interested in buying some weed?" malbo has no history set. Omfast jumps and turns around, surprised. He smirks, "Ah, you're the new weed salesman at that farm, are you not? Well, well. A Hornblower if I ever saw one." Omfast looks up and down the road, but since it is a late winter night, nobody is out on the street anymore. "Don't you ever stop selling, boy? Ah, forget it. Show me what you have." Malbo pulls out a slightly battered sales list and replies, "No, sir, I don't stop selling. Selling is my job." He hands the price list to Omfast and says, "I've got pouches of all the weed on there 'cept the Bree Pride and Troll Chaser." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ***** ****** ***** ****** ** ** ****** ****** **** ****** ****** ****** ****** ** ** ****** ****** ***** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ****** ** ****** **** ** ** **** **** ** ** ***** ** ***** **** ** * ** **** **** ** ** ** ** ** ** ******* ** ** ** ** ** ****** ** ****** *** *** ****** ****** ***** ** ****** ** ****** ** ** ****** ****** **** Pouches WEED Barrels ***** ** Great Weeds ** ***** 25 cp Old Toby 1875 cp 25 cp Longbottom Leaf 1850 cp 28 cp Southern Star 1850 cp 23 cp Bree Pride 1700 cp ***** ** Lesser Weeds ** ***** 15 cp Southlinch 1100 cp 15 cp Old Forest Gold 1350 cp 16 cp Troll Chaser 1350 cp 17 cp Hornpipe Twist 1450 cp 18 cp Leafy Sweetcuff 1500 cp 20 cp Widow's Bite 1575 cp 20 cp Lemon Grass 1650 cp All prices are subject to change, discount and negotiation. Then he sneers, "Gah! Just tell me what you have. Do you have that ol' Forest Gold? My favorite if I ever had one." Malbo pulls out a pouch, looking distinctly annoyed with the old windbag. He says sharply, "Yes, sir. I do have some 'ol' Forest Gold'. 15 copper pieces a pouch, sir." Omfast looks at his fingernails, then starts scratching one of his arms as he considers. "Hm, last time I bough from ol' Talvo boy, it was considerably cheaper, chap. So don't try to cheat me on that. I'll give you eleven coppies for that pouch and that's it, agreed?" Omfast grins, "Hey hey, you wanna seel that weed, now, don't you? Let's say twelve and have it done." Malbo nods and grins back. "Twelve it is then." He hands the pouch to Omfast and nods. "Glad doin' business with ye." You +give 12 Copper Pennies to Malbo. Omfast grabs the pouch and adds it to his belt. "I know, you guys are always eager to sell a pouch. Never mind. I'm sure we'll see each other again." And with that, Omfast turns and walks into the Luck Tucky Inn. Malbo nods and replies, "I'm sure we will. Farewell!"
