This is one of those photos that just had to be taken. We were trying to find a place to buy sunscreen - thus the towel on Sier's head. There is a walkway around the Bay. It's paved 'cause a lot of the beaches on this side of Cape Town have these type of rocks. Very hard, sharp, black rocks that look volcanic (I did Geograpgy ages ago!). Anyway, along the beach was this little cove, almost entirely surrounded by rocks. Of course you can't see the greenery to the left of the photo and you can't see the rocks next to the photographer but, trust me, it was stunning! :)
We also called this pic 'The Beach' 'cause it reminds of the movie :).
