Discovery Bay from a Cessna 172

These aerial views of Discovery Bay were taken in 1990 when I was an active private pilot from a Cessna 172 using a Hi-8 camcorder. They were digitized using the internal framegrabber in a Mac660AV desktop computer.

Discovery Bay residents who live on the "deep water" have direct water access to over one thousand miles of waterways that are a water skiing and fishing paradise. San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean via the Golden Gate are about ninety miles away by water. Stockton, Sacramento, Rio Vista, and Antioch are only a few cities in the interior of California that can also be reached by boat.
