Hi how are you all doing? My name is Sherry. I live in the Bronx. I really don't know if any of my friends have this website, but I will make sure if they it if they don't have it. You guys are great. When I am on the Internet I am looking for something to do. Now I have something to do. I heard about your website about 2 weeks ago and I have been listening since them.
I hope that I am not talking too much. Your program brings back so much memoires from when I was a little girl in Guyana. My grandfather use to take me to the movies every Sunday. He is passed away now, but you guys keep his memories alive in my heart with your music.
Thank you
Keep up the good work
Sherry

Great Balwan,
Thanks for what you are doing. Very few people can realize how huge the internet is. I can image the countless hours you dedicate to this.
Your selections remind me back when you were on WNYE 91.5 and 93.5 FM

Saw your site on the Guyana Links Page and was wondering if you can help me.
I am looking for an old Tradewinds song called Beneath Your Sky but I don't know what albumn it was on. Any chance you can tell me? If I knew the name of the albumn I might be able to get it from a store in Toronto. Many thanks for anything you can tell me.

Hi Sir, let me be one of the many to thank you and your web radio staff for making my day so much happier.
I am currently in the Air Force stationed in Abilene, Texas. Even though it is Saturday, I am at work finishing a report. Someone, about 2 months ago e-mail me you radio program address, since, I always listen to your radio program. Also, when I am at home I listen to it.
You all are doing a wonderful job and I thank you for making my busy day alot easier. You see, we all tend to get so busy sometimes, we tend to forget who we really are. Your radio program helps me to remember my roots.
I love those sweet, oldtime indian songs. It reminds my of the ones my father used to sing for my brother and sisters while he put us to sleep in the hammoc.
Thanks again, and please give my regards to my family in South Ozone Park, Queens.

RadioDemerara.com's response: According to our engineers, this problem sometimes occur if there are overloads on the server, such as when there are a lot of people on line. However, most of the time the reason is because the listener's connection is too slow. It depends on the access speed and also how many other programs are open on your computer. This sometimes causes a drain on your computer resources. The best way to handle this is to reboot your computer. Anytime you get a message that "Audio Device is Busy", we recommend that you please reboot your computer. Thanks for writing.

Subj: No broadcast?
Date: 7/12/00 4:13:32 PM Pacific Daylight Time

To: RadioDemerara@aol.com ('RadioDemerara@aol.com')

I truly enjoy your programming in the afternoons at work here on the West Coast! But you are showing "no broadcast" this afternoon!

RadioDemerara.Com's Response: This is usually a very temporary situation. It's almost like buffering. WebRadio pro gives a better quality reception. However, it seems to buffer and to indicate "No Broadcast" more often than regular web radio. So if the problem recurrs a lot, then you should try listening to regular web radio, which you can access by clicking on the top two horizontal icons on entry to RadioDemerara.Com's web page. Whenever you encounter a "No Broadcast" banner, just refresh your screen. That should clear it up.
Thanks for writing and we really do appreciate hearing from you. Please do write again.

Thank you for bringing back "boyhood days" nevertheless, I am a girl. As you can tell I am currently listening to "Boyhood Days" and wanting to call all my friends (who are all in their beds now).
This is the first time I'm tuning in, not for the lack of not trying. My JAVA has been giving me problems but an angel fixed it. :) I am now playing you guys every waking hour...I hope that makes you feel wanted because it makes me feel closer to the Guyanese community.
Have a SUPER day!
Sincerely,

Great job...i love the radio station...great oldies.
On the scrolling message you have on the player, it is posssible to include the name of the song and the movie?
I think this would be helpful to alot of the listeners.
