Saturday April 5th 1998 dawned grey and wet over Guiseley, England. Inside
a modest dwelling known as 28 Westgate though the mood
was anything but grey, or wet! yes, box land was being ripped asunder and belongings
that had heaved and shaken across the Atlantic in some ship or another were
being loving unwrapped, and tossed onto the floor. It was the Maufe's,
unpacking. The fact they had no drawers or closets or anything to unpack into was beside
the point. We had to get stuff out of the boxes cried Alice! I'm leaving! cried
Simon, and went off
to make a cup of tea. Here are just some of our helper Elves, Heather, Billie and Matthew.
