NEW ZEALAND 5
Waiheke Island and Other Auckland Area Pictures
Halloween has never been so sexy...
Go Ahead, grab a piece of candy!
Tawharanui Beach just after sunrise, we
went for a surf, yet you see in the picture, the ocean wasn't cooperating. In fact,
I've never seen it so flat in my life. Anywhere. Ever.
From the left: Travis, Chad, Nikki, Alex,
and myself, same day on Takapuna beach.
Awww, so sweet... sisters separated at birth.
Dumb and Dumber on Whaiheke Island.
"Yo, man, did you see that gnarly 360
I pulled?" reply: "Um... no." - Muriwai beach, surfing the black
sands with Travis (and a parasailer behind Alex).
NORTHLAND (Everywhere North of Auckland)
Koru, the baby fern - a common shape in bone and jade necklaces in New Zealand symbolizing
new life. - on the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, Bay of Islands.
The
fish-eye lens shedding a new angle on a bunch of flowers - in Russel, Bay of Islands.
Morning from the cliff, sunrise over mountains on the opposite side of the bay. - Maitai
Bay.
The
scanning doesn't do this picture justice. Wicked sunrise.
Goofin' around swimming in ice cold water on Maitai Bay.
Cape
Reinga. As you can see, we were tortured by horrible weather the whole trip.
We
never knew the name of this beach, but it was too croweded, so we left. We saw two
people walking about two miles down the beach in the distance. Perfect seclusion is
easily found here. Oh, and we must give mad props to Nikki for this picture, it
quite captures the moment.
This is Nikki's favorite beach we slept on (notice I wrote favOrite, not favOUrite - I'm
holding out). Kaimoumou Beach, perfect white sands and a full moon.
Don't just stand there, bust a move. (AKA the "Nikki jumping Alex in a random
field" picture)
The
"what-the-hell-is-wrong-with-me" picture.
I be
an retarded. SOFA KING WEE TODD DID.
