Love Isn't Enough
By:Tara LeBeau
It was a cold night but it didn't seem to
bother Rogue, who sat alone on the roof of the mansion staring out into the night sky. In
the moonlight her tear streaked face shinned. Her green eyes were no longer full of the
life they used to have, instead they looked cold and empty. The wind blew around her it
was cutting like ice but she didn't care. She just sat their cold, empty, alone and deep
in thought. She was thinking back to the time when she was happy, the time when she wasn't
empty a time when she was loved.
"Remy" she whispered softly in the cold night wind. Her tears came harder
now, she missed him. He had been her life, her sunshine and her reason to go on. But
she didn't have him anymore he left her because he could deal with the distance not being
able to touch her put between them. When he left a large part of Rogue died. She was not
the back talking southern gal everyone knew and loved. She was hollow. Her love was gone.
He claimed to still love her but she knew in her heart he didn't. Because if he did he
wouldn't of left because love should be enough for anyone to stick around but I guess not
for her Remy. Rogue whispered something softly which got lost in the wind before breaking
down in to complete tears and calling Remy's name.
"Sometimes love isn't enough"
