Visit me! Say hello while you're there!

I'm not a guitar player, I'm a singer! I'm sorry about any mistakes.

This song is so much fun to play! There are a couple of difficult parts but most of it's easy. The chorus section for guitar 2 LOOKS complex but it's NOT! Don't let all the bends and markings fool you!

HELP!!! The bridge section (guitar 2) is one of my mental blocks... sorry... can anyone help me get the pattern right? (my right hand technique sucks and I can't possibly play that at speed!) I think that the basic 'chord' structure is correct... it might not be...

Well... this song was unmentioned by Matt... I've sent him a "help! help!" message about this song (and others), so we'll see...I hope... :-)

TAB Lesson for beginners!

If you want to print this I'd suggest printing it straight off this page! The TABs are in .gif format (because I think the .html kind are ugly) and will not be saved with the copied page unless you specifically do it! Have fun.

Guitar 1 - intro:

Guitar 1 - verse:

Guitar 2 - intro to verse #1 & both verses:

Guitar 1 - chorus (option 1):
Here's the contest... can YOU decide which version of the chorus he plays?
Write to me and tell me "Chorus option 1" or "2"!!!
There is another alternate possibility... a combination of both.

Guitar 1 - chorus (option 2):

Guitar 2 - chorus:
Bend only the 8th fret string!

Guitar 1 - bridge:
The second bridge is longer... repeat the first measure.

Guitar 2 -bridge #1:
This part is probably a bit messed up! I'm really bad at quick repetitive notes! Can anyone get closer? Help me!
I've given the basic "chord" structure for the fingering... I think that's correct!

Guitar 2 - intro to verse #2:

Guitar 2 - bridge #2:
Same note as for bridge #1... (???)
Repeat the first measure once.

Guitar 2 - solo (at the end):
See below for alternate ways to play the quick section! The chord at the end can be played in several ways too.

The quick section can be played several different ways... I think the hammer on method used above is right.
It can also be played these other ways:
This one is very similar and might be correct.
This one is obviously NOT the way Dave plays it... but it's easier for beginners!

Bass - verses:

Bass - choruses:
Play this part for the solo section at the end (outro) as well.

Bass - bridge #1:
Bass in the bridge sections is quite quiet! Play smoothly and without real definition.
(especially for the first bridge!) Second bridge bass grows louder.

Bass - bridge #2:
