On the road again...

Can't keep a good Daddy down.

**Regarding the 21+ state of some shows, from Glen:
"We always try and do as many all age concerts as we can.  If we had our way they all would be all ages...that is our priority, but it doesn't always work out."

Some hints...

- Get your tickets EARLY, as soon as you hear about the show.  BBVD has a knack for selling out shows the same day it goes on sale.

- Keep track of those tickets!  Venues aren't going to replace them if you lose them or spill gin 'n' tonic on them.

- Call ahead to see if there are any restrictions, i.e. age requirements.  The boys don't *generally* play limited access shows, but there is a chance that a venue could throw a 21+ (or 18+) on top of the whole thing, just to sell more drinks and things like that.  Get all that info before you get all slicked up to the 15's, ready for a nite of Voodoo.  Tears don't work, and you WILL be turned away, no matter how much you beg, plead or offer.

- If the show is in a casino or hotel and you need a room, ask about deals.  Some places offer reduced-rate or even free show tickets when you book a room.

- Remember to call about the photo policy before you show up, Funsaver in paw.  Some venues prohibit picture-taking and might even swipe your camera.  Also, be on the lookout for the official event photog, especially at a casino.  They like to get right down in front, and have a tendency to push you out of your well-earned spot. They *usually* aren't very nice - I was nearly knocked out by a VERY RUDE one in Atlantic City (boo!  hiss!)

- Don't despair if the meet 'n' greet is VIP's only.  If a large corporation (like Bell Atlantic at the JazFest in NYC), is sponsoring the event, they'll do something like this to make investors feel special (like the free drinks weren't good enough?!?).  Rest assured this isn't a common practice, and the boys *don't* really like when that happens.  Don't panic - these little lovefests are usually fairly short, and you can usually catch them making a quick getaway. Heck, you might even see 'em without their hats.
