This section is basically designed to tell you a little about me and the guitars and equipment I use to practice my hobby. I have been playing guitar for about a year and a half, I started at the end of my sophomore year in high school. My original guitar that I bought a year and a half ago is my Peavey Predator electric guitar, (shown on the right). In september of this year I bought my Takamine G-330 acoustic(shown on the left). I enjoy playing both of my guitars and I bought them for $300 or less and they sound great.

The amp I use for my electric is a Fender Bullet 15W amp. Although it is a practice amp it provides adequate sound for my purposes. It also has an overdrive button which allows me to crunch some heavy riffs without having to buy a distortion pedal. I also just bought a chromatic tuner so that I can play in alternate tunings. While detuning my guitar I broke one of my acoustic strings and had to replace them with medium gauge Dean Markley 13-56 strings. It was the first time I restrung my guitar myself and I think I did an adequate job of it. I use Dunlop Yellow Tortex picks and GHS 10-46 Boomers for strings on my electric.
