Here is an okay picture of my 30 gallon tank. I don't have that many fish in it yet. I did pick up a pair of Black Molly's. If you look at the picture below you can see the baby's that came along right after I bought the fish. I am at 16 fry (baby fish) and counting.
The fry are in a special basket to keep the mother fish, or any other fish, from eating them. The basket just clips over the side of the tank. If you look at the above picture you can see it in the top right hand corner.
This is my little fish page. I will try to put up as much good information as I can find.
I only have freshwater tanks but most of the links I have put on the page also have alot of info on saltwater set ups.
The main fish I have are angelfish. I think that angels are one of the best fish to have in your tank. They are not too touchy so if you are just starting out they are a good one to have. But they do require a few basics. You have to make sure that you have a heater because they do not like cold water. Also a good filter is a must. I like to use a combo of an undergravel and an over the tank, but you do not need to have both. An over the tank filter is good by its self for a smaller tank, but anything over 20 gallion  I  would say to use both filters.
Angels are very smart fish and the can get bored if there is nothing in the tank with them. Plants are always good to have in any tank, real or fake it is really up to which one you want to deal with. I have silk plants in mine; they have the real look without all of the hassle.
And of coure there are the basics like food, the right water, and lighting. Food- basic flakes, freeze dries tubifex worms, and frozen brine shrimp are a staple of my angels diet. Frozen brine shrimp are a real treat and they LOVE them.
Water- If you are going to use tap water you HAVE to treat it. I use Tetra Aqua's AquaSafe. It neutralizes chlorine, chloramine, and heavy metals thet are in tap water. You have to use it when you first set up your tank and with any partial water change. I also use TetraAqua's Easy Balance, it cuts down on the need to change the water in you tank.
Lights- Make sure you have a nice light for your tank. It helps to show off your tank, and the fish do not like to sit in the dark.

Well those are a few of the basics. As the page develops I will ad as much information as I can.

Here are two of my angels. The pictures are not very good, but I will replace them with better pictures later on.
