After they stopped kissing AJ decided that he had a question for Andrea. However he didn’t want to disturb the nice silence that they were having. They stood looking deep into each other’s eyes.
“Okay Andrea I’d like to know your policy when it comes to me!”
“Well what do you want to know?”
“Basically where I stand with you. Am I a one night stand or do I mean more to you?”
“Come on you really need me to answer this question?”
“Yeah actually I would like an answer.”
“Okay, you mean a lot more to me. I am not into one night stands and you would never ever be a one night stand.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, standing here knowing that I can have you. You’re driving me crazy! I just want to...”
“Hey don’t give away all your secrets at once, let me find out for myself.”
“As you wish.” Andrea said as she gave AJ a kiss.
It had really started to rain so AJ and Andrea decided to go back to the club. The rain made a big mud puddle in the middle of the park and there was no way around it. Since AJ was a gentleman he picked Andrea up and carried her over the puddle.
“Thanks you’re a real gentleman aren’t you?”
AJ thought that Andrea was joking and he threatened to drop her in the mud.
“AJ what are you doing? I was trying to be nice.”
“Well I thought that you were making fun of me.”
AJ put Andrea down only to be pushed into the mud puddle himself.
“What the hell are you doing?”
“Nothing” Andrea said in a childish voice.
“You’re in for it now baby.” AJ remarked as he grabbed Andrea’s waist and threw her into the mud.
The two of them had a mud fight for at least ten minutes.
As the two of them drove to Justin’s all Melissa could think about was Nick. She really didn’t want to but his smile was permanently stuck in her mind. She wished that she had more time to get to know him better, he was just so damn... wait she thought to herself. I have Justin and he is the most wonderful man that has ever come into my life.
“Justin baby.”
“Yeah.”
“You do know how much I care about you right?”
“Yes of course why do you ask?”
“No reason.”
Justin had a funny feeling, why would she ask me that he thought but he didn’t want to hear the real truth so he pulled into his driveway without saying a word.
“Melissa why did you ask me such a question?...(pause) I mean I know that you said no reason but you have never asked me that type of question before, and I just want to know if something is wrong.”
“Of course not Justin, I just thought that I should tell you how much you mean to me.”
“Okay, Melissa you are always full of surprises and that is why I love you so much.”
Justin said as he took Melissa’s hand and led her into the basement. Justin went upstairs to get some pillows, and a blanket. When he did so Melissa picked up the phone and called Andrea’s cell.
“Hello Andrea, can you do me a big favour?”
“Yeah sure what do you need?”
“Well it would be great if you could call here and tell me that I have to come home right away.”
“Why what happened?”
“I’ll tell you later.”
“Alright, you’re at Justin’s right?”
“Yeah please call soon.”
“Alright give me five minutes.”
Just as Melissa hung up the phone Justin came down the stairs, his arms were full and the phone had started ringing. It was just like Andrea to call early. Justin asked Melissa if she could pick it up for him.
“Hello.”
“Hi Justin, it’s Andrea is Melissa there?”
“Yeah why what’s wrong?”
“Well I would rather tell her if that’s okay.”
“Sure just a sec.”
“Hello.”
“Hi Melissa it’s me... now is the moment that you are supposed to sound surprised. I really don’t know what the emergency can be so just make it up. Oh by the way Chris and I broke up tonight.”
“Oh okay you really need to talk to me tonight?”
“Yeah okay.”
“Alright I’ll just get Justin to drop me off where you are. So where are you?”
“I’m actually at Angel.”
“Okay I’ll see you there in a couple of minutes.”
“Alright bye.”
“Bye.”
Justin grabbed their coats and gave Melissa hers. He knew how important Andrea’s friendship was to Melissa so he understood why she was leaving. However he didn’t understand why the car ride was so silent. She had not said one word to him since they had gotten into the car. When they arrived at the club Andrea was standing outside all covered in mud.
Jillian was starting to feel as though she couldn’t fight the temptation to tell Brian how she felt about Kevin. She wanted to make Brian understand that she didn’t want to be falling for Kevin but she couldn’t help it. But Jillian also felt that she was betraying Brian’s trust by falling for his cousin. Jillian really didn’t know what she wanted to do so she invited Brian in and asked him if he would like to stay for the night. Jillian thought that having him there might ease her thoughts of Kevin. But really it had done the opposite, she felt a longing to be close to Kevin’s muscular frame, no matter how bad the thought was she knew that being close to Kevin would feel right.
“Jill what are you thinking about?”
“Oh just how much I really like your cousin.” Jillian wasn’t one for being dishonest but stretching the truth a little never hurt anybody.
“Yeah, a lot of women think that Kevin is sexy!”
“Well I can see why. Everything from his voice to his smile is sexy.” (pause) “Of course everything about you is adorable, and that is why I feel so lucky.”
“So you think that Kev’s sexy too?”
“Yeah why does that bother you?”
“Well...”
“Hey you always told me to be honest and besides you said that Andrea was gorgeous.”
“Yes I guess you’re right, no harm done by just saying that you think Kevin is sexy.”
Jillian was starting to feel very comfortable with this topic so she decided to bring up the fact that when she and Kevin danced she started to feel the spark. The same spark that had started her relationship with Brian. But before she could speak her doorbell rang. Jill walked over to answer it, when she looked out her peephole she saw the tall, dark, devastatingly good-looking, and very sexy Kevin standing there.
As she pulled into Howie’s driveway she was still smiling. She now knew what she wanted to say to Howie. She wanted to tell him that she loved him all along but that he had just caught her off guard. And she also wanted to tell him that he was the best part of her life and how her life would never be the same if he wasn’t in it. However she never had a chance to say any of these things because she was greeted with a very warm, soft and passionate kiss. Then Howie threw his arms around her and told her how she had made him the happiest man alive. Howie took Melissa in his arms and carried her upstairs. She felt as though she was floating on cloud nine, and absolutely nothing could crash her good mood. Howie carried her straight into his bedroom. He had set a romantic mood by dimming the lights and playing the soft instrumental tune of Quit Playing Games With My Heart. He threw her down on the bed and kissed her softly on the forehead. They had both been waiting for an opportunity like this for a long time. There would be no interruptions and that was the way they wanted it.
Howie looked deep into Melissa’s brown eyes and whispered “I love you baby.”
Melissa proudly looked back and whispered “I love you too.”
With those words being said Howie began to unbutton Melissa’s top, she did the same to him. With every button she undid, she became more intrigued with his muscular body. She always knew that he was buff but not to this extent. He had a washboard stomach that even when it wasn’t flexed was defined, and the nicest pecs she had ever seen. When she had arrived at the last button she realized that the decision she was about to make was right, and with that thought she began to rip the rest of Howie’s clothes off.
