The Dusties move in. Introduction of characters/character development. Desiree get's the Lipshitz's off on the wrong foot by wheelieing into the cul de sac on her motorcycle. The Lipshitz are further appalled by the fact she is black. The college boy nerds come over to help. The "kewl perv" joins the Lipshitz in instant anylais of the situation, tossing sarcasm back at their disapproval. Evening falls, Mr. Lipshitz sets up "command post" in upper bedroom with notepad and binoculars, while college boys set up same on upper porch veranda with telescope. Impromptu jam session by Nique on guitar and Toast on drums gets first noise complaint police call. Duty cops respond, while oggling girls and trying to settle complaint, they fail to notice Gaby stuffing a raw potato in their tail pipe of cruiser. As they leave, girls run, exploding in laughter into house, police car sputters, coughs and shoots potato into window of Lipshitz house.

Episode # 2

This episode begins with the discovery by the Lipshitz couple next door that "someone" has changed the street signs at the entry to the cul de sac to "Dusty Ave" and "Angel Drive". (This running gag and the frustration of the Lipshitz, the cops, the city in trying to keep these "signs" from reappearing is in virtually every episode.) Episode centers around the President of the United State and his daughter who stop over in Los Angeles in the middle of the night. They are misinformed that the Spice Girls are holed up in the Dusty house and daughter wants to meet them. At 3:00 a.m., accompanied by 30 Secret Service agents, they arrive at the Dusties home. (Angie, having fielded the call about the "Spice Girls" living there, thought it was simply a crank call from the a college boy and had in fact verified the Spicers as being there to a Secret Service agent.) Upon arrival, the Dusties, all in stages of sleep wear, pile into their tiny picket fenced front yard where pandemonium prevails. Each Dustie is engaged with Secret Service, Dani and Angie trying to explain to them, Toast gets in an arguement with one and uses her tiny baseball bat on his arm suggesting he learn some "manners". Desiree is making a date. Nique runs upstairs and begins a rendering of the Hendrix "Star Spangled banner". Meanwhile, the President and daughter are sitting in limo waiting for it to all be sorted out, Dani jumps in limo and introduces self and begins conversation. SS pulls her out as Angie goes in another door, etc., etc.

Episode notes

The world meets the Dusty Angels in a story within a story. The fictious story of how the band came together in Southern California is actually the follow up to the Dusty Angel Chronicles film. Never again will the Dusty Angels appear from the lighter side of their young lives. These are the Angels as they come to Sunset Beach to prepare for the mission. Fun loving, full of sexuality mixed with sight gags and a classic running battle with the arch ememy of youth in the role of the right wing neighbors, the hormone driven college boys, the leecher with a heart of gold in the geezer neighbor and the natural rebeling against authority with the local police.
