Ed opened up West Main Appliances in early 1984, with the booming of surrounding areas of new real estate, Ed has made quite a name for his company in the last 20 years. Started out as a freelance carpenter working on individual contracts, then hiring for Sears/Roebuck in 1979 Ed had found himself on the verge of an inportant decision along with fellow owner Tom Small. So in March of 1984 both opened up what will be known today as WMA Co. all over south central Kentucky. In coop with many different contracters and land owners Ed and Tom have publically announced the relocation of corporation headquarters to Hazard, Kentucky in fall of 2006. |

Tom Small |

|
Tom is co-founder of West Main Appliances. Tom and Ed met while attending the same university in Indiana. Both were seeking the same degree, which was Computer Information Systems. Both diverged after college, Tom went to work for a small manufacturing firm out of West Virginia producing the chemical for stripping floors. He was the chief database designer for the whole company.They kept in touch over many years, and would soon show the pay off. After working for Sears/Roebuck, Ed Stefanova decided to propose an offer with Tom in a partnership to start what is known today as WMA Co. |

Johnny is our main sales clerk. Since West Main Appliances open the doors, Johnny has been family to the company. A native to Owensboro, Johnny has become one of the most famous faces on Owensboro. A true heartbreaker, Johnny's only love now is the sweet sound of a Icebreaker 5000, and the satisfaction of a happy customer that patrons the establishment. |
