We purchased the car in August 2001 from a dealer in Santa Maria, California. As you can see, the body is in good shape. There are, however, a number of "projects" that are still required. As these projects get completed, we will try to update the page with pictures. These projects will probably not be anything earth-shattering to an experienced mechanic. We are just trying to keep a photo record of the things we do to the car.

Here is what we have done with the car so far:

• the most important, in my book - 86 the CA plates and title !!!!
• fixed the breaks. now you can't hear us stopping from a mile away (done professionally.. i don't have near the skills required to do this one)
• replaced a broken hood louver
• replaced all the weatherstrip except for front and back windshield. it's still in good shape. for those curious, i used the kit from StrictlyZ the kit took care of everything except two straight pieces for the quarter windows. got those from Victoria British
• installed new starter
• replaced inop backup light switch
• replaced center console and installed a Pioneer CD player
• replaced leaking oil pan gasket and front main cam gasket (done professionally.. i don't have near the skills required to do this one)
• replaced a bad vac in the heater system (done professionally). not that i need it in california, but i have heat now.
• replaced the sagging headliner with a brand new one
• installed full dash cap over cracked dashboard and replaced steering wheel
