Well these 40 were broken down to 20, then 8.
The 8 guys were put to live in a house with cameras following their every move during the process. Those guys were, Brian, Mike, Ikaika, Paul, Eric, Jacob, Ashley and Trevor.
Then at the end the decision was made.The 5 were-
Trevor, Ikaika, Eric, Jacob and Ashley made the band.
Unfortunately after a while Ikaika was forced to leave the group because of famliy issues. And a new member was called up.

Oh yeah they're called O-Town, after the place in Florida where they lived.
