"If we're going to make it to the studio we better go." Isaac called out reaching into the refrigerator for a drink. "I'm ready." Zac answered coming down the hall, adding, "I'll take one." "Tay. Come on Tay." Isaac called out. "Taylor come on. Shake a leg." Zac complained loudly. "He's not here." Mackie shared entering the room, heading to the refrigerator. "What do you mean, he's not here?" Isaac asked. "He's not here. When I was riding my bike I saw him drive away." Mackie answered. "What? Dad. Dad." Isaac called heading towards his office. "What son?" Walker answered opening the door. "Dad did Tay say he was going somewhere?" Isaac asked. "No. Not to me at least but I've been in the office since we got here." Walker answered, adding, "I thought you guys were going to the studio?" "We were. I wonder where he went?" Isaac replied. "I bet he went to campus." Zac grumbled making his way to them. "Oh Taylor." Walker sighed shaking his head no. "He wouldn't. Jessy made it clear she didn't want him around." Isaac suggested. "Since when does he listen." Zac grumbled, adding, "Let's go see if that's where he went." "I guess we could head that way. Dad that leaves you guys without wheels." Isaac replied. "That's okay son. Barbara is coming back limo and all. We're taking her to dinner to thank her for the ride. Besides I think your mother is having withdrawal pains." Walker replied. "Sure hope he didn't head this way. Jessy was pretty blunt about the fact she didn't want him around. I mean she even turned down the chance to have you there to not have to put up with him." Isaac shared making his way on Campus heading to the Sports Complex. "There's the mini-van. Told you." Zac declared pointing at the family's smaller van as Isaac found a parking spot nearby and pulled in. "Just keep your cool Zac. Don't go barging in there and making a scene. I got the definite feeling Jessy isn't into publicity. She was telling me about the coverage she got taking her volleyball team to the State Championship. Zac she was definitely uncomfortable with it." Isaac suggested. "Yeah I know. We talked about it." Zac replied with a chuckle. "What's so funny?" Isaac asked. "Well she said I turned out pretty normal considering all the press." Zac said then began laughing. "You normal. Boy is she wrong." Isaac replied laughing with him then adding, "You know considering everything you've been through you have turned out okay." "Yeah we've been lucky. This is what we were talking about when Jessy thanked Mom and Dad." Zac shared with a smile. "Is that why she thanked them? Cool Jessy." Isaac shared. "So how about we sneak in, take a look but keep out of sight?" Zac asked. "Sounds like a plan to me." Isaac said and the two headed inside. "Man she's good." Zac gasped as Jessy came into view. Jessy was out on the court playing against a team of four and doing a good job of holding her own. "Man look at her go." Isaac shared as they watched her block a ball winning the point as a whistle sounded. "Great job Jessy. I'm sending out a few more oponents." Mike said sending two more girls out before continuing, "I'd like to show your serving ability in a game situation to our guests." With that he nodded towards the group of suits that we gathered courtside then ordered a cart of balls be delivered to Jessy. "Way cool. You ready over there?" Jessy asked then proceeded to serve point after point until finally the other team began applauding her. "Well here then." Jessy called out and served one underhand which they finally got back across the net before Jessy manage to outplay them once again. The shrill of Mike's whistle drew their attention as he motioned them all over. "Her Mom said she was a natural. Man she's good." Zac gasped watching as Jessy was introduced to those watching before she made her way to the other players. "There he is." Isaac said nudging Zac nodding towards their brother. "Figures." Zac grumbled watching Taylor make his way to Jessy and the other girls. "Hey Jessy. You sure are good girl." Taylor said as he neared. "What are you doing here?" Jessy asked shocked when she turned to see him then immediately looked for Zac, adding, "Where are your brothers?" "Huh? Oh them. At home I guess." Taylor answered as one of the other girls squealed recognizing him. "Taylor Hanson. I don't believe it. You know Taylor Hanson." "Jordan Taylor Hanson." Jessy growled glaring at him as he was suddenly surrounded by the other girls. "Don't be mad baby. I just wanted to watch you play." Taylor replied moving closer wrapping an arm around her waist. "Don't Taylor. I asked you not to come for this reason. Please leave." Jessy insisted pushing him away. "Dont be mad." Taylor pleaded kissing her cheek. "Figures. I'm out of here." Zac moaned turning and leaving. "Way to go Jessy." Isaac said with a chuckle as he watched Jessy pushed Taylor's face away shaking her head no then pointing for him to leave. "Fine then I'll leave." Jessy squealed at the hesitant Taylor before turning and heading to the locker room. Before entering the tunnel leading to the locker room, Jessy stopped to take one more look for Zac and Isaac hoping she didn't see them. "Thank God they're not morons like Tay. I asked them to stay away. Now I'll be known as an 'In To Hanson'. Not the way I wanted to start." Jessy mumbled listening to her complaint echo in the tunnel. "Hey Jessy. Taylor really wants to talk to you. I think he wants to apologize." one of the girls shared entering the locker room. "Probably but Im not giving him the chance. I asked them not to come but why listen to me." Jessy replied. "You do know them. Wow. So you dating Taylor?" she asked. "Me? I don't think so." Jessy answered and began giggling at the thought. "I got the distinct impression he was very interested in you. Don't tell me he hasn't asked?" she asked. "Um. No. I mean yeah he asked but I didn't accept. We just met. Give me a break." Jessy answered turning red faced. "So are they as nice as they come off. He sure is a hottie." she shared. "Yeah they are nice. Well except for the respecting what I asked thingy. Overall they're okay. I met the whole family. I adore their baby sister. Zoe is so cool." Jessy answered as she smiled remembering Zoe. "You do like her. You're smiling. Or are you thinking about the hottie." she teased. "Hottie." Jessy sighed thinking about Zac as she headed to the showers. "Sorry Tay. She's in the shower and not too thrilled with you right now. She did sigh and was dreaming about Hottie Hanson when I left." the girl reported back. "Dreaming about me huh? She'll come around and forgive me." Taylor replied taking a seat near the tunnel, waiting for Jessy. "Wait up Zac. Zac." Isaac called to him. "Let's just go." Zac mumbled. "Zac wait. Man you should have seen her. You walked out right when she shoves Tay's face away for kissing her. For a minute there I thought she was going to deck him but just pointed to the door insisting he leave." Isaac shared catching up with him. "She what? Really Ike? You would tell me this to make me feel better right?" Zac pleaded to know turning to him gazing at him trying to decided if he was telling the truth. "Whoa. You got it bad Zac. You really care about her don't you?" Isaac replied to the concern he saw in his younger brothers eyes. "Huh? Nah. She's just a girl." Zac answered quickly turning away. "Yeah right. You can't even look at me because you're lying. Zac if you like her go for it. Let her know how you feel." Isaac suggested. "Nah she told me she doesn't have time for guys." Zac replied shrugging his shoulders. "Doesn't have time or hasn't met one she cares to make time for?" Isaac asked. "Huh? You think so?" Zac asked with a renewed interest. "Hey you're irresistible remember?" Isaac teased as the two climbed in the van and headed to the studios.
