The two became inseperable. Taylor spent his nights with Jessy in his arms as it became increasingly harder for her to sleep. By now Jessy was seeing the doctor weekly, anxiously awaiting the birth of their child. "I can't believe how good you are doing. The doctor is shocked you'll probably make it to your due date. I'm so proud of you." Taylor exclaimed as the two left the doctor's office. "Not right now Tay." Jessy moaned pushing him away. "Babe what is it?" Taylor asked reaching for her again. "Not right now Tay." Jessy repeated glaring at him. "Sure babe. How about ice cream?" Taylor asked opening the door for her, helping her into the car. "Tay I'm tired. I just want to go home." Jessy whispered. "Sure babe. You sure that's all it is." Taylor asked stroking her belly as a tear struck his arm.. "Jessy. Babe why are you crying? What is it?" Taylor whispered hugging her. "I'm terrible. You guys are so proud I might go to my due date and I just want it to be over. I'm terrible." Jessy choked out. "Babe you're not terrible. I can't imagine how you feel." Taylor whispered as his hands began caressing her body, adding, "Well yeah I can. You feel good. Real good." Taylor kissed her passionately. "Oh Taylor." Jessy sighed gazing deep into his eyes. "Yeah. Oh Jessy." Taylor sighed, adding, "Someday. Someday." "Yeah. Someday. Someday we'll be together." Jessy sighed as she imagined them together. "Hey you're having fun without me." Taylor eclaimed at the look on her face. "Oh my." Jessy squealed as she turned redder and redder. "Whoa. We must be great together." Taylor said, adding, "Tell me babe." "Stop. Taylor I want to go home." Jessy gasped as his hands caressed her again. "Yeah I bet you're tired now." Taylor teased making his way to the driver's seat and taking her home by way of Rex's, picking up dinner. While Jessy napped, Taylor used the time to make phone calls. "Tay I need up. Oops sorry, didn't see you were on the phone." Jessy said waking up from her nap. "That's okay babe. It's Dad." Taylor shared. "Hey Daddy." Jessy called out as Taylor help her up. "He says hi sweetie." Taylor shared as she made her way to the bathroom. "Thanks again Dad. I hope this doesn't blow up in my face." Taylor suggested. "She loves you son. Has for quite some time. Down deep I think being married before the baby is here is all she wants." Walker shared. "Hope you're right. Talk to you later." Taylor said as Jessy returned. "Why am I so tired?" Jessy moaned crawling back in bed, cuddling in his arms. "I don't know babe but I sure love having you here." Taylor said hugging her and kissing the top of her head. "Tay I think I'll go back to sleep. Why don't you go see if your brothers want to do something or maybe Ash." Jessy suggested. " Nah I think I'll stay here and hold you." Taylor argued holding her tighter. "Please hun. I won't sleep with you here. We'll mess around and end up talking the night away. Not that I don't love messing around with you." Jessy said turning, kissing him playfully over and over then adding, "Hun I'm just so tired." "Yeah I can see you are. It's in your eyes. Babe you sure that's all it is?" Taylor asked. "I hope so I'm too tired to handle anything else. You take care of it okay?" Jessy pouted. "Sure babe. You just rest and get better. I think I'll call the guys. Let me get you tucked in the pillows. There you go. Promise me you'll call me. Here's the cell, just page me if there is anything." Taylor said fussing over her. "Taylor honest I'm okay just tired." Jessy insisted answering the questions in his eyes. "I can't help worrying. So sue me." Taylor teased. "Do I look like a fool huh? Why would I sue you for caring about me? I love you for the way you care about me, the baby, your family, your friends. You have a good heart Taylor and I love you for it." Jessy confessed. "I love you too babe. You and the baby are everything to me." Taylor shared kissing her deeply. "And I want you to go why?" Jessy sighed. "Because you need to rest and if I stay here..." Taylor reminded kissing her longer and deeper. "If you stay here... You know they say making love sometimes causes you to go into labor." Jessy shared making eyes at him. "And I have to live with the knowledge that I caused the baby to be born early. What if something went wrong? No way. I want you babe but I'm not that strong." Taylor insisted. "Ne neither. I'm sorry baby. You stay as long as you need." Jessy sighed stroking her belly before squealing, "What am I saying?" "Sleep deprived. That must be it." Taylor teased shaking his head finally kissing her goodbye and heading up to the house. Taylor spent the afternoon hanging with his brothers, working on some songs for the new album. "Tay are you there?" Jessy called on the instant pager. "Yeah babe. You're awake. Feeling any better?" Taylor replied. "I feel totally rested. Thanks for understanding hun." Jessy answered, adding, "Tay I'm hungry and I can't find anything I want in the house." "Hungry. I'm hungry too." Zac said grabbing the cell phone from his brother, asking, "Man Jessy I'm starving too. What you craving?" "Zac how'd you know. Actually I was remembering that place you took me to a couple of months back." Jessy started to explain. "Sam's Joint. You want barbecue don't you? Dang girl that's what I was thinking about." Zac finished. "Really. Ribs. No chicken. No ribs." Jessy moaned. "Both?" Zac asked. "Would you. I love you for this." Jessy squealed. "Hey what about me?" Taylor asked taking his phone back. "What? I didn't mean it like that." Jessy insisted. "What? Jessy what are you talking about?" Taylor asked totally confused. "Nothing just forget it. I'm not hungry anymore either. Tay I gotta go I don't feel good." Jessy said hanging up, gasping, "Why did I do that?" "Jessy." Taylor asked, turning to his brother, "Zac what did she say? I don't know what happened. One minute she's fine, now she's hung up and isn't hungry." "What? You're kidding. We were going for barbecue. Man she loves it." Zac shared as shocked as his brother. "Just remember what Dad said Tay. Jessy can't help it. Remember Mom before Zoe was born?" Isaac suggested. "Yeah I remember that. Poor Dad." Zac shared, turning to his brother adding with a chuckle, "Poor Tay." "Shut up. You're getting too much pleasure out of this." Taylor said putting a headlock on Zac. "Yeah we are." Isaac screamed plowing them over and pinning them to the floor. When they finally quit wrestling and took a breather, "Here Zac." Taylor said pulling out his wallet handing him some cash, finishing, "Take this bro and go buy her her favorites." "Hey I'm in on it. Maybe she needs a friend about now." Isaac said handing Zac some money also. "Good idea bro. Let' see what Mom has planned." Taylor suggested and they headed downstairs. Zac and Walker headed out to pickup dinner as Diana headed to convince Jessy to come to dinner. "Sweetie it's Mom." Diana said opening the slider. "I'm in the bedroom Mom." Jessy called out. "What on earth? Jessy what are you doing?" Diana gasped, adding, "It looks like a tornado went through here." "That's me, Tornado Jessy. Wait it's hurricanes they name not tornadoes." Jessy replied laughing. "So we're having a burst of cleaning energy why?" Diana asked sitting on the bed nearest the closet she was cleaning. "I don't know." Jessy sighed knowing exactly why she was throwing herself into cleaning. "Sweetie why don't you come to dinner. Tay said you were tired after your doctor appointment so you didn't eat, you came home and slept." Diana asked. "He did, did he. Did he tell you I snapped his head off?" Jessy said turning away as the tears welled up in her eyes. "Not exactly. He said one minute you were hungry, happy and the next you were tired again." Diana shared. "Yeah right. I'm still starved but I just can't face him right now. I was so cold to him." Jessy said through her sniffles. "Why sweetie? You love him, I know you do. Why would you be cold to him?" Diana asked reaching her way stroking her hair, adding, "You look so cute this way." "It's just...I said... I do love him Mom. But maybe I don't because I wouldn't feel guilty about telling Zac I love him for offering to take me for barbecue." Jessy finally confessed. "You what?" Diana asked confused. "I told Zac I love him for offering to take me for barbecue. Then Tay asks what about me? Mom I thought he was asking why I told Zac I love him. I just felt so guilty." Jessy admitted. "Why sweetie? You don't love Zac do you?" Diana asked. "No. Not that way. I still can't believe for all those years I was so sure I loved Zac Hanson. Boy was I wrong." Jessy answered shaking her head, finishing, "I mean Zac is great an all. He is a good friend. But Tay..." Jessy was suddenly smiling to herself thinking about how wonderful Taylor was to her and how he adored the baby. "What's that smile for?" Diana asked intrigued by the look on Jessy's face. "Huh? Oh Mom I just love him so much. He makes me so happy." Jessy squealed turning red faced. "Yeah right. So why did you feel guilty about telling Zac you love him? Do you think Tay is jealous? Do you think he feels that way Jessy?" Diana teased at first then asked sincerely. "I honestly don't know Mom. Maybe that's my problem, I'm not sure so I assume Taylor feels the same way." Jessy suggested. The realization hit her as she finally quit cleaning and sat staring at Diana, asking, "It's my problem right? Not Tay's." "I think so sweetie. I'm not saying Tay isn't part of it. I think you two need to talk about it so you're sure how each other feels." Diana suggested. "I think you're right. You're awfully smart for a Mom." Jessy said crawling her way, moaning as she tried to rise. "Man do I remember feeling that way." Diana gasped helping Jessy to her feet. Diana gave Jessy a hand at finishing the closet. "Jessy what is it?" Diana asked after watching her. "What do you mean Mom?" Jessy asked hoping it wasn't what she was thinking about. "Sweetie it's just, well I think you have something weighing on your mind. You know Jessy you can always talk to me. I know Taylor is my son but I love you too." Diana shared. "Swear you won't tell Taylor?" Jessy asked. "I swear I will never tell Taylor what you confide in me." Diana swore. "Well, umm, you know I love Taylor more than I ever thought possible. Who'd have thought the way we started." Jessy shared stopping and looking at Diana, pleading, "Please don't tell Taylor. I've pressured him into so many things. I don't think I could handle him changing his mind late. Mom all I want.. you can't tell him but all I want is to be married before the baby is born. I know it's stupid. It doesn't mean he loves me anymore or anything like that. It's just stupid to feel this way." "Hardly Jessy. It is not stupid and it's not for the baby. I bet you worry thinking that you're in love with him because of the baby. That's not it Jessy. I've watched you fall in love with him. It's because of the man he is not the fact he fathered your baby." Diana insisted. "You understand?" Jessy gasped. "Oh sweetie. Jessy he's my son but I couldn't be prouder of the person you've become. You are so compassionate. In spite of his actions, you've seen past his failings and fallen in love with him for the wondeerful man he is." Diana shared. "He is wonderful Mom. Especially to me and the baby." Jessy shared stroking her belly. "I won't argue with you." Diana agreed with a giggle. Jessy cleaned up and they headed to the house for dinner. "Mmmm. Don't tell me. Barbecue?" Jessy asked sniffing the air. "Yep. Right on the nose. Taylor forked over the cash and I ran for your favorites." Zac answered as Jessy searched the room for him. "You look so cute baby girl. I like the hair." Walker shared hugging her and kissing her cheek. "Thanks Daddy. Tay did it to help cover up my whacking my hair off." Jessy replied smiling at Taylor. "Good whack job sweetie. Ever consider a career as a hair stylist." Walker teased. "Gees that's a good idea. Need a trim Daddy?" Jessy teased, adding, "With my mood swings lately maybe I better use round end scissors though." "Zoe's got some yellow ones. Want me get them Dad?" Zac offered with a chuckle. "Not necessary son but you might volunteer as her next guinea pig." Walker teased lifting his long blonde locks. "Did you get me the scissors?" Jessy teased heading his way. "You stay away from me." Zac squealed racing off. "That's it. Run and get those scissors." Jessy called out. "You're in better spirits." Taylor exclaimed as she turned back his way all smiles. "Why wouldn't I be happy." Jessy whispered making it to him, adding, "You bought me barbecue." Jessy caressed his face then kissed him sweetly, asking, "Can we talk later?" "Sure babe. You okay?" Taylor asked taking her in his arms. "Who knows? I think I'm a basket case and you're stuck with me. I'm just so afraid Tay." Jessy confessed cuddling against him. "Afraid of what Jessy?" Taylor asked concerned something was wrong. "Tay I'm so afraid you'll get fed up with me. All I seem to do is run hot and cold lately. Why can't I be lukewarm?" Jessy sniffled. "Baby you don't do it on purpose. Jessy it's my baby causing the horomone rushes so it's my fault not yours." Taylor insisted. "It's my baby too." Jessy squealed, backing away, rubbing her belly, sharing, "See I got prrof." "Whoa when did that happen." Taylor teased. "You know. Remember Zac accused me of stealing that watermelon. I had to swallow it. I didn't want to get in trouble." Jessy answered without cracking a smile. "You're impossible. Where do you come up with this stuff." Taylor exclaimed as the laughing began. The family gathered for dinner. "Grab her quick son." Walker exclaimed as Jessy nodded off. "Poor thing. She was cleaning the closet when I got there. She had already cleaned the entire house." Diana shared as Taylor moved closer, putting an arm around her. When he finished eating Taylor lifted Jessy and carried her to the spare room. "Here son. Something for her to sleep in." Diana shared placing it on the dresser, adding, "See you in the morning."
