Sure About It

Part Twelve

"What on earth were you thinking?" Isaac lashed out finding Taylor slumped over in a chair in the living room. "I.. I... I don't know. I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen." Taylor mumbled not raising his eyes from the floor. "Taylor you're bleeding." Isaac gasped looking at his arm quickly making his way to him for a closer look. "Teeth marks?" Isaac asked upon a closer look. "Huh? Oh yeah." Taylor replied turning his arm over. "My God what have I done." Taylor gasped as the memories flooded back. "That's a good question son? One I'd like an answer to." Walker asked entering the room. "Where's my baby?" Barbara asked racing into the room. "She's in the guest room. Zac's with her. She hasn't regained consciousness yet." Isaac answered reaching for her hand leading her down the hall. "You boys out." Diana ordered as she followed them into the room, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be short with you boys. Could you please go see to your sisters and little brother. Maybe take them out into the backyard until we get a handle on things." Diana apologized looking at the hurt on her sons faces, adding, "Zac she'll be okay. She's a strong, healthy young woman." "Sure Mom. I know you didn't mean anything by it." Zac replied kissing her cheek, adding, "Take care of her." The two mothers tended to Jessy, cleaning her up complete with a change of clothes so she might rest peacefully. "That's all we can do for her until she wakes up." Barbara declared sitting on the bed next to her daughter. "Well I guess I'll go deal with the cause of all this. God help him." Diana shared. "I think it's best I stay here or God will need to help him." Barbara exclaimed shaking her head no over and over as Diana made her way from the room. "What were you thinking? Taylor I can't believe you've done such a despicable thing." Walker stated gazing at his son, adding, "Look at me when I'm talking to you young man." "I can't. I'm ashamed. I can't believe I've done this either. What's wrong with me?" Taylor answered bursting into tears. "Dear God help him deal with what he has done." Walker prayed kneeling next to his son. "Our Heavenly Father we pray for your guidance. Please look over our sweet Jessy. Help her deal with this violation. And Lord help my son deal with this terrible thing he has done. Help him repent for his agressions. Amen." Diana prayed falling to her knees next to her husband. "I'm sorry Mom. I didn't mean for this to happen. I never meant to hurt you. I.. I..." Taylor tried to apologize. "Taylor Hanson this isn't about me. This is about Jessy. Taylor do you have any idea what you've done to her?" Diana asked lifting his face to hers. "How could I?" Taylor choked out shaking his head yes. "I can see you do." Diana sighed caressing his face, wiping away his tears. "Right now everything has to be about Jessy. Do you understand? I don't know what is going to happen son but remember I love you, we love you and we'll be by your side always." Diana promised. "God forgive me I didn't mean to hurt her." Taylor confessed taking a deep breath then whispered, "I love her Mom. I thought she... she doesn't love me though and she never will now." "I'm afraid you're right there. I pray she can forgive you for what you've done." Diana prayed as her family joined her. They were discussing all the possibilities when the blood curdling scream came from the guest room. "She's awake and from the sounds of it, she remembers." Diana shared rising and making her way to the guest room. Her heart broke at the sight of Jessy sobbing in her mother's arms. "Sweetie I'm so sorry." Diana whispered making her way to them. "Momma don't tell. Swear you won't tell anyone." Jessy gasped looking at Diana. "I already know Jessy. Taylor confessed to what he'd done. He's so sorry." Diana answered the terror in her eyes. "No he's not." Jessy declared glaring at her for saying such a thing. "Jessy he even said he never meant to hurt you that he loves you." Diana shared. "Loves me. If this is love I don't want it." Jessy insisted pulling away from her mother, adding, "I'm going to take a shower." "Uh. Uh." Barbara mumbled searching for the right words. "Sweetie before you do. Um Jessy, sweetie... Well Walker and I would like to talk to you." Diana explained then called out the door, "Walker dear can you come here?" "No. I love Daddy and all but I don't think I want to see him right now. I just can't." Jessy replied. "You know he loves you as much as I do. Jessy he doesn't blame you. None of us do. This wasn't your fault. You did nothing to be treated that way." Diana insisted making her way back to her, hugging her. The knock on the door threw her into a panic, "It'll be okay Jessy. I promise." Diana insisted taking her hands in her, gazing into her eyes, asking, "Okay for him to come in?" "Come in Daddy." Jessy called out. "I'm so proud of you." Diana gasped hugging her tight. "Hey sweetie. My poor baby. I'm so sorry this happened sweetie." Walker said making his way to her side, reaching for her. "Daddy." Jessy cried making her way to his arms. Diana nodded to Barbara and the two quietly made their way to the hall, "Did you think she would take to Walker that way?" she asked. "Not in a million years. I was afraid she would see him only as a male, a violator." Barbara answered. "We think alike. I was so afraid when I called him in but he had insisted on seing her, speaking to her." Diana explained as the two made their way to the kitchen for tea. "I have you now baby. Let it out." Walker whispered holding Jessy, rocking her slowly as she cried. After a few minutes, Jessy's cries had turned into a few remaining whimpers, "That's my little girl. I love you Jessy. We all love you sweetie." Walker whispered to comfort her. "Not Tay. He must hate me to treat me this way." Jessy shared. "Hate you?" Walker questioned before sharing, "I'm afraid not Jessy. He actually admitted to loving you and mistakenly thought you loved him too." "No I don't. Never. I couldn't. I wouldn't." Jessy argued. "Never Jessy?" Walker asked. "Never. I mean I just thought he's not a big jerk for just a minute and look what he did." Jessy mumbled shaking her head and crying all over. After a few more minutes in his comforting arms, "Sweetie I need to ask you something." Walker whispered. "What?" Jessy replied looking up at him wishing he'd just drop it. "Sweetie I need to know.." Walker got out before pausing, kissing her forehead and hugging her tight before continuing, "I love you Jessy. We all love you. Right now you're all that matters sweetie. Jessy I need to know if you..." "Daddy what is it?" Jessy asked concerned at his hesitation to finish. "Jessy do you want to file criminal charges against Taylor for what he's done?" Walker finally asked. "What? What? I... I.... No. No I can't. You have to swear noone will ever find out. No." Jessy answered panicking more and more at the thought finally rising and racing from the room. "You keep your mouth shut you hear me. All of you." Jessy screamed pointing at Taylor, then turning to the others in the room. "I mean it. Not a soul is to find out about this but us. I swear I'll die if you tell anyone else. You just can't. I'll die." Jessy rambled on in her panicked state. "Baby it's all right. Calm down." Barbara whispered making her way to her. "Sweetie calm down. Take a deep breath." Diana said in a calming voice before ordering, "Zac get a paperbag she's hyperventilating." "Jessy I'm sorry sweetie. I didn't think you'd react this way." Walker said finally catching up to her just in time to catch her as she passed out. "Walker what did you say?" Diana asked. "I'd like to know that too." Barbara added. "I asked her if she wanted to file criminal charges against Taylor." Walker answered. "You what?" Zac asked returning. "Oh Walker why didn't you ask me first." Barbara moaned shaknig her head no. "I'm sorry. I didn't want to upset you too." Walker replied. "I'm not upset. Walker I could have told you she'd react this way. She's adored the boys since the went national Walker. Even though Taylor raped her, I'm sure she's in denial. Her Jordan Taylor Hanson would never do such a thing." Barbara explained turning towards Taylor and glaring at him then asking, "What happened to her Taylor Hanson?" "God I'm so sorry. I don't know." Taylor choked out making his way to Jessy's lifeless form. "Jessy I'm sorry. Please you have to forgive me. I didn't mean to do this. I'm sorry." Taylor pleaded over and over. "Taylor please just leave her alone for right now. Deal with your guilt on your own. Zac could you find me a smelling salt?" Barbara asked bringing Jessy around once Zac retrieved it. "Momma I just want to go home. Please take me home. I'm done on Campus anyway so it won't matter." Jessy asked, turning to the others, "I just want to try and forget this and go on with my life. I'm going to try so I want all of you to do the same."
