"I want this one too." Natalie insisted after trying on another outfit. "Nat you only have six weeks to go. There's no reason to go overboard." Jessy suggested. "Taylor gave you his credit card so I can have anything I want." Natalie argued. "He gave the card to me for that reason. He knew you'd buy the store out. Five outfits is the limit. You pick which five. I suggest you make sure they mix and match with the others you pick out." Jessy declared. "You tell her." Leslie whispered into her ear. "Taylor would not deny me." Natalie argued telling the clerk she'd take them all. "Excuse me Miss. She is only getting five outfits paid for by me. If she wants the rest she'll have to pay for them." Jessy explained. "Which five did you want then?" the clerk asked. "You're as awful as Taylor." Natalie pouted throwing a tissy fit. "You're worse than Zoe and I don't tolerate that from Zoe. I suggest you act your age not hers or I'll only buy four outfits." Jessy declared with hands on her hips and that 'do't mess with me' look in her eyes. "Then hellp me decide. I want them all. How can I choose just five?" Natalie conceded. "Well I say go with that pant suit. It really looked nice on you and goes with everything else." Leslie suggested picking out the suit and handing it to the clerk. "I liked it too. Then this one was my second choice." Darcy agreed pulling out another outfit. "Good choices you two. I agree totally." Jessy shared. "Which one did you like?" Natalie asked.. "I know it's silly but I like the Christmasy one. Stupid right? I mean your only pregnant for a short time and who knows if you'll ever be pregnant at Christmas again. Wow I can't believe it's a little over a month to Christmas." Jessy answered, sighing, "I haven't even thought about it with all this Miss This or That going on." "Don't feel bad I don't even have a pending Miss Oklahoma Pagent to use as an excuse for not having thought about Christmas shopping." Darcy added noticing the frown on Jessy's face. "Really? You're not just saying that to make me feel better?" Jessy whimpered, adding, "Christmas is my favorite Holiday and I haven't given it one thought." "What are best friends for?" Darcy teased wrapping her arms around her, layig her head on her shoulder. "To make me feel not so bad." Jessy giggled. "Yep. So do I pass the test?" Darcy teased. "With a capital P." Jessy teased back. "P why did you say pee? Now I have to." Natalie interrupted with urgency. "This way Miss." the clerk said leading Natalie off to the back. "Well that's three. Which other two do we get for her?" Leslie asked picking out the Holiday outfit Jessy liked. "I say this one." Darcy replied picking out another outfit. "Yeah that one for sure." Leslie agreed, adding, "Last pick Jessy." "I say the jumper. She can wear any of those tops with it. And the suit jacket goes with it." Jessy suggested. "Good choice." Leslie replied picking out the jumper then taking the other five outfits away. "Out of sight, out of mind huh?" Jessy asked as she returned. "I'm not arguing with her about it." Leslie declared. "Taylor so lucky his best friend has such good taste." Jessy shared, turning to the returning clerk adding, "Well take these five." "Good choices. This will do just fine for only six more weeks. Well done." the clerk said gathering up the outfits and heading to the register. "It'll be a charge." Jessy said pulling out Taylor credit card. "Very well." the clerk said taking the card and looking at before looking at Jessy then the card, gasping, "The Miss Oklahoma one. That's why you looked familiar. You're engaged to Zac Hanson." "Guilty. No make that extrememly lucky." Jessy replied. "I'd say. He is such a hunk." the clerk sighed. "That he is." Jessy sighed smiling at her.before they both let out a huge sigh. "If you'll sign this?" the clerk asked after composing herself and ringing up the purchases. "Sure thing." Jessy said signing the charge slip. "So that's Taylor's wife?" the clerk asked. "That would be Natalie." Jessy answered.turning to look at the girls. "So she is very pregnant before her six month anniversary?" the clerk asked. "Very pregnant." Jessy giggled. "I guess even Pop Stars make stupid mistakes." the clerk replied with a giggle of her own. "Big time." Jessy squealed. "Your receipt. Oh and good luck next Friday. I'll be rooting for you. My brother goes to school with you and told me all about the football team's pick. They were right." the clerk shared handing her the receipt and the packages. "Thanks. Darc can you give me a hand?" Jessy called out. "Sure. I'll take these two." Darcy said taking the two largest bags. "Such a good best friend." Jessy replied picking up the last bag, adding, "Where's the closest food source for the very pregnant one?" "Oh yeah that's important. Down the right about three stores and turn to the right is the food court. You should be able to find everything she craves there." the clerk answered. "Good idea. Man it's been a whole hour since the last feeding." Darcy teased. "Okay you two let's head out." Jessy said leading the way to the Food Court. "Now that you have something to eat. I'm going to run and get Mom's van and come pick up the packages. Keep an eye out for me." Jessy said pointing towards where she'd pick up the packages. "You should eat something." Darcy argued. "I'm going to buy a cookie and carton of milk on my way to the van. That way right?" Jessy asked pointng. "Yeah that way. Left after you get your cookie and to the end. I think it aisle H." Leslie answered. "Yep H it was. I'll watch for you." Darcy said waving as she turned the corner, "Drat no signal." "What you need? Nope mine doesn't work either." Leslie said pulling her cellphone from her purse. "Mine does. Here." Natalie mumbled through a mouthful. "Thanks. Answer Zac." Darcy mumbled alerting Zac's line. "What's up Natalie?" Zac answered. "It me Zac, Darcy. My phone didn't get a signal inside." Darcy replied. "So what's up Darc?" Zac asked. "Jessy. She's bummed about not having thought about Christmas so I was thinking we'd do a little Christmas shopping while we're out." Darcy suggested. "You're such a good best friend." Zac replied as the sounds of bikes grew louder. "I can barely hear you. I just didn't want you shocked when we didn't get right back. That's why I didn't suggest it when Jessy got moody about it, I wanted to talk to you first." Darcy explained. "We'll be fine. We're really having a good time." Zac shared. "We'll bring pizza home with us okay?" Darcy suggested. "Fine by me. Have fun shopping. Tell her I love her." Zac answered. "She knows that but I'll tell her anyway. Gotta go. I see her. We're putting Natalie's stash away before we shop more." Darcy said hanging up, handing the phone back. picking up the bags and making her way to the van. "You did look for me." Jessy squealed as Darcy neared. "I told you I would." Darcy replied. "But there was food on the table and Natalie near by. I figured you'd be so busy protecting your food you wouldn't have a chance to watch for me." Jessy teased. "I'm not stupid. I scarfed it down in ten seconds flat. There was nothing to protect as you turned the first corner." Darcy teased, adding, "Let's park this baby and go Christmas shopping." "What? Really? I'd love to but..." Jessy replied. "But nothing. I talked to Zac and he said that they were having a blast not to worry about them. Oh and he said to tell you he oves you." Darcy shared. "He did." Jessy sighed. "You knew that. Now park this thing we have serious shopping to do." Darcy teased. "I need a Toy Store." Jessy shared. "What something for Zoe?" Darcy asked. "Nah something for Zac." Jessy squealed. "Good idea. I can shop for Adam and Ashley while we're there." Darcy chuckled. "This is going to be fun." Jessy declared parking the van. "Well don't expect too much. We do have Natalie with us." Darcy reminded. "Oh yeah. Bummer." Jessy moaned as they made their way back into the Mall. "There you two are. I was thinking you ditched us." Leslie shared rolling her eyes nodding at Natalie. "We have decided to do some serious Christmas shopping. You two game?" Jessy asked, adding, "Natalie if it's too much for you, I can take yu home and come back to shop." "Are you kidding! Me not shop! I may be very pregnant but I'm not dead." Natalie declared. "Well then let's shop. I need a toy store." Jessy shared. "I need a men's clothing store." Leslie shared. "Well I'm shopping for Zac. Who you shopping for?" Jessy asked. "Ashley. Oh you're right I need a toy store." Leslie giggled. "I can buy for the kids." Natalie shared rising and heading down the aisle. "You clean up after yourself. Duh." Jessy moaned looking at the clutter Natalie left behind. "I'll help. It's like picking up after the kids." Darcy said, pausing and adding, "Wait they pick up after themselves. Even Zoe." "Well Mom didn't raise Natalie." Jessy teased. "Too bad. She might be human if Mom had." Leslie added. "Amen to that. She definitely needs a dose of Mom. She is the ost selfish human being I've ever met." Jessy sighed. "I'm so jealous." Darcy sighed. "Why?" Jessy asked depoisting Natalie's trash. "You've know Mom what a year now. No a little more. Anyway I've know her for like a dozen years or more and you totally know her. You two are so close." Darcy sighed. "Yeah we are. What's not to love about Mom though." Jessy sighed. "Yeah. She's the best." Darcy sighed as the two headed out to catch up with the other two. "I found a toy store." Leslie called out pointing. "Way to lead Leslie." Jessy cheered. "So what you thinking?" Darcy asked following Jessy in the store. "He's totally worn out his Playstation controllers and has been moaning about Xbox." Jessy shared. "Adam too. About the Xbox." Darcy squealed. "Hmmm." Jessy said in deep thought. "What you thinking?" Darcy asked. "What does a best friend buy for his best friend? What he wants most himself." Jessy shared. "You're crazy. Right but crazy. That's really a good idea." Darcy replied. "Oh. Oh. I know. We'll what until Christmas Night to exchange gifts between us. Adam and Zac wil be so bummed by then. Won't the be surprised." Jessy shared. "You I like. You think just like me." Darcy squealed. "Then it's a deal?" Jessy asked. "Oh yeah. Wish I'd thought of it first." Darcy chuckled leading the way through the store. "There you are. Look what I got for Zoe. It's so adorable." Natalie called out heading their way. "But Natalie she already has that." Jessy sighed shaking her head in disbelief. "She does? You sure?" Natalie asked. "You live in the same house and you don't know. It's one of her favorite toys but she doesn't need two." Jessy replied, adding, "What else have you got?" "I picked this out for Mackenzie." Natalie answered picking it up. "You did it again. I don't live with him or next door and I know Mackie already has that. Man he's had it a couple of years now." Darcy laughed. "Oh no." Natalie pouted. "I told you Natalie. You just wouldn't listen." Leslie reminded. "I didn't think you knew what you were taling about." Natalie mumbled. "I've only known the family for fifteen years. Of course I know." Lesslie argued. "Let me take care of this and 'I'll go with you. I need to shop for the kids too." Jessy suggested mouthing "I'm sorry." to Leslie. "God Bless you." Leslie mouthed. "Well I have to take care of mine so I'll do yours. What color paper do you want yours wrapped in?" Darcy asked. "You chose. Just don't make them the same. Hey see if the have a bigger empty box to put one in so the don't look the same." Jessy replied. "You are so much fun." Darcy choked out taking the order tag from Jessy's hand and heading up front. "Wait. Here are the keys if you want to pick them up. Or you can wait. I'll probably have other pickup items." Jessy said tossing her the keys. "What if we get separated?" Darcy asked. "Umm I think I still have my own key to Mom's van. She made me one after Zac and I presented her with her own keys to the Mustang." Jessy said digging through her purse, coming up with it, adding, "Yep we're set. Catch up with you guys later." "I have no idea what to get anyone." Natalie moaned. "Well just think a bit. Have you ever played with one and had a really good time?" Jessy asked. "Of course." Natalie snapped. "Don't give me that attitude. Natalie I'm trying to help you and that attitude makes it extremely difficult." Jessy warned stopping in mid aisle just glaring at her. "I'm sorry. Don't hate me." Natalie whimpered. "Always with the extremes. I suggested you improve your attitude and you're sure I must hate you." Jessy grumbled heading back down the aisle. "I played tea party with Zoe once. We had a real good time. You know the tea set was old and things were missing." Natalie shared. "Very good idea. Zoe is so into imagining. That is a perfect gift. Let's see what the have." Jessy replied making their way to the doll section. "Here look at this. This one is so beautiful." Natalie squealed picking up a china set. "Zoe would love it. I can see her now. You know I think that should be from just you." Jessy suggested. "What about Taylor?" Natalie squealed, grumbling, "I am his wife." "Always with the negative. I suggested it because the thought came from you and she deserves to know that. I think you and Taylor should by her table and chairs for her room. She has plenty of room for it and she could throw tea parties all the time then. Not just when a table is empty." Jessy explained. "That's so nice. I'm sorry I snapped. It's just..." Natalie replied. "It's just what? That I doubt the reason Taylor married you? It's true I do doubt your motives but right now we're Christmas shopping and your relationship with Taylor has nothing to do with it." Jessy shared moving down the aisle towards the tables and chairs. "This one is perfect." Natalie said pointing at the most expensiive one. " You sure have expensive taste don't you." Jessy teased. "Well this one would fall apart the first time one of us sat at it." Natalie argued pointing to the cheapest. "You're right there. And the idea is for her to use it." Jessy shared pulling a pick up order tag from the display handing it to Nataie adding, "One down only a gazillion left to go." "It is a big family." Natalie teased rolling her eyes. "I wouldn't have it any other way. I've never seen so much love." Jessy sighed. "Yeah me too." Natalie echoed as the continued to shop. "There you are." Darcy called out hours later. "Hey I think we've finally bought out the store." Jessy called back. "Oh so you'll change the sign out front when?" Darcy teased.heading their way with Leslie in tow. "So how did you do?" Leslie asked as they approached. "I did wonderful." Natalie chirped out as Jessy rolled her eyes in disbelief. "I can't believe I accomplished so much. This was a great choice of stores whoever found it." Jessy added. "You are welcome. I see you bought paper and ribbon. Why didn't you think of wrapping our haul. I need to go back." Leslie declared. "Me too. Wait." Darcy squealed turning her cart and racing after her. "I have to go to the bathroom again." Natalie whispered. "Well Taylor called and told me to put your haul on his card so I'll take care of this." Jessy explained taking Natalies cart and order tags. "Man it took as long to check out as it did to pick out everything." Darcy shared being the last one through check out. "Here's my pick up tags. You two head there and Darcy and I will take all this to the van and meet you at pick up." Jessy suggested pushing and pulling a cart followed by Darcy doing the same. "I'm hungry." Natalie shared as they picked up the final packages. "Wow I didn't realize it was this late. Someone check with the men." Jessy suggested looking at the clock, adding, "No wonder you're hungry." "Ash said they're hungry too." Leslie shared before laughing heartily and adding, "Zac says he loves you. He really loves you. So does Adam, Taylor and Ash." "They really must be hungry. They only love my cooking." Jessy squealed and they all laughed. "Let's go get pizza. We can eat at home with the guys and empty the van." Darcy suggested dialing to order pizza. "Fine by the guys." Leslie shared. "Done then." Jessy said heading to their favorite pizza restaurant. "How'd you know where to go?" Darcy teased. "Duh! We always order from here. It is so out of the way from home but we stiill only order from there." Jessy answered. "Mom and Dad." Darcy and Jessy gasped in unison. "I'm dialing. I'm dialing." Darcy said dialing to add to the order. "I'm dialing too. I'm dialing too." Leslie chirped in. "Leslie tell Mom we'll eat there so we don't have to worry about spying eyes." Jessy suggested as Leslie explained to the folks. "Everything is set except for your special dressing Mom said." Leslie shared hanging up. "That's doable." Jessy mumbled looking at Darcy. "All taken care of. Perfect timing, they were just about to put ours in." Darcy shared. "So we going out again after lunch?" Jessy asked. "I'm game." Leslie replied. "Me too. I'd really like to get this taken care of if I can." Darcy shared making a list. "Let me see how I feel after I've eaten." Natalie shared. "Like Darcy I'd love to get this taken care of so I can relax and enjoy the Holidays." Jessy shared pulling into the parking lot, adding, "Let's go in and wait. You can get something to hold you over Nat." 1
