"Let me clean that up Jessy. Zac will kill me if you cut yourself cleaning up his mess. Sure don't blame him. I would have dropped mine if I'd been holding it instead of Darc." Adam insisted lifting Jessy up by her elbows. "Thanks Adam. I'm having a hard time concentrating. I don't believe this. I asked her. I mean it's what all of us were thinking when they got married so I just asked. She swore Tay was just afraid that they'd lose touch when she moved home. I mean she explained it like when he suggested they wouldn't be apart if they were married, she jumped all over it like a proposal and before the dust settled they were married." Jessy rambled on in disbelief, looking up noticing Ashley's expression, adding, "You knew didn't you?" "I swore I wouldn't say anything." Ashley replied. "How could you let him marry her? You're his best friend." Jessy accused. "The folks were for him marrying her." Ashley shared. "So. Everyone knows they insist the guys marry somebody they knocked up. It doesn't mean it's right. Look at Taylor. He is not happy. If marrying her is the right thing why is he so miserable?" Jessy argued. "You tell me that if Zac knocked you up you wouldn't want him to marry you." Ashley argued. "That's different. Zac and I are getting married." Jessy argued. "That's a joke. Zac knock her up. Shit he isn't making love to her until she marries him. You pregnant. Now that's funnyy, huh Jessy?" Adam teased. "He what? What did you say?" Ashley gasped dropping his plate. "What's with the plates?" Jessy squealed. "Sorry Jessy. Did he just say that you and Zac... can't be." Ashley said gazing at her. "Can be. I'm surprised Taylor didn't tell you." Jessy replied, adding, "Ash it's a long story and I swear we'll tell you everything but right now, please don't say anything to anyone else. I mean the folks, Grampa... they don't know. Adam, Darc, Tay and Nat are the only ones who knew." Jessy pleaded. "Sure kiddo. I really don't get this. Man how does... wow he's stronger than I am." Ashley answered. "He is something special." Jessy shared smiling from ear to ear. "Man look at her. She sure loves him." Ashley insisted. "That I do. From the first time we met. Sometimes I can't believe I love him more and more with every day that passes." Jessy sighed. "No wonder Natalie is jealous of you. True love is hard to find." Leslie shared. "I really don't do it on purpose. It just seems everything I do... you know like the true love. Then Zac goes and proposes in grand style. The team getting me elected Miss University of Tulsa so now I'm running for Miss Oklahoma. I had no idea they were all her dreams. I'm sure it pisses her off that I don't give a rip about any of it except for Zac." Jessy confessed. "Don't forget your lavish wedding plans." Leslie added. "I can't count the number of times I ticked her off with my 'I don't care as long as I end up married to Zac' answers." Jessy replied. "Man you're lucky she hasn't killed you." Darcy squealed. "I'm sure she's thought about it." Leslie added. "Yikes. I guess I better watch my step." Jessy teased. "There all cleaned up. Now let's get some food in you." Adam said cleaning up the two broken plates then carrying Jessy's and his plate to the dining room. "I wonder how things are going?" Leslie asked looking towards the folk's house. "Me too." Jessy agreed rising and walking to the window, adding, "Look it's Zac and Taylor." "Where?" Adam asked joining her at the window, looking out finding Zac and Taylor off in the woods, sitting on he benches by the bon fire pit. "Looks like they've been there all along." Ashley shared joining them at the window. "You think?" Jessy gasped. "Look at the hole Taylor's dug with his right foot." Ashley answered.. "Oh I see." Jessy replied, adding, "They must be hungry. If I fix them plates will you take them out? I don't think Tay needs to see me right now." "Godd idea Jessy. They look like they need saving from all the serious talk." Adam replied following her to the kitchen. "If anyone can make them laugh... Maybe you ought to carry the plates. What am I saying?" Jessy teased. "I promise not to drop anymore plates." Ashley replied with a chuckle. "As long as you promise." Jessy teased fixing the plates and sending them on their way. "Don't worry. They'll fix this." Darcy said wrapping an arm around Jessy who had returned to the window to watch. "See. All better." Leslie said as Zac and Taylor turned towards the house and blew kisses to Jessy. "Let's get this mess cleaned up." Darcy suggested dragging Jessy along. "Yeah I guess." Jessy mumbled trying to busy herself. "I wonder what Natalie is doing?" Leslie shared. "Eating." Darcy and Jessy said in unison and all three laughed. "Your're probably right." Leslie choked out. "So is she really pregnant or not?" Jessy asked as the laughing died down, adding, "If so, how far along?" "Yeah she is. Man let's see she's seven.. no eight months I think." Leslie answered, thinking about it and adding, "Yeah she should be almost eight months." "No wonder the spread. I'm sorry that's not nice but earlier.. well she caught the back of her jacket in her waistline. Well I guess I just hadn't been paying attention with all the cheering and pagent stuff. I was just floored." Jessy explained. "If you think about it she's doing really good for eight months." Leslie insisted. "Yeah she is. I mean she still wears regular clothes not maternity." Jessy replied, adding, "You know she'd probably look better in maternity clothes though." "What you thinking?" Darcy asked watching her expression. "Huh? Well what if we went shopping for her? Maybe it would help her spirits." Jessy shared. "Great idea Jessy. She'd really look so much better and I know she'd definitely be more comfortable at least." Leslie remarked. "Who'd be more comfortable?" Ashley asked turning all heads towards him. 'Oh... Um.." Leslie mumbled. "Such guilty faces." Zac teased. "Yeah we are. You caught us." Jessy said making her way to the guys, stopping in front of Taylor, taking his hand, asking, "Are you okay?" "What?" Taylor asked just starig at their hands. "I asked if you were okay? I had no idea you were going through all of this.." Jessy shared, pausing a moment before continuing, "pretty much alone. Tay I'm sorry if I was the reason you didn't feel you could talk to your brothers about it. I really am." "You what? Jessy don't. It's not your fault. I didn't tell them my problems because I was ashamed of what I'd done. It was pretty stupid." Taylor gasped stunned by her confession. "I have to agree with you, it was a stupid thing to do. Gees Tay what were you thinking?" Jessy teased to take the edge off. "I wasn't thinking Jessy. You know just go with the moment." Taylor teased back. "Oh like I want to do huh?" Jessy insisted. "Learn from my mistake kiddo. One go with the moment can change your life forever." Taylor replied. "Yeah but I want my life to change that way." Jessy pouted, adding, "It's me Taylor. Miss University of Tulsa who only wants to be Miss Married to Zac." "You're such a goof. God how do you stand her?" Taylor choked out. "Somebody's got to do it." Zac replied. "That's right you do." Jessy squealed getting in his face, putting her nose to his. "Hey babe." Zac whispered smiling at her. "Don't you smile at me." Jessy insisted. "Oh. Okay." Zac replied rubbing his nose against her. "Are you kissing me?" Jessy squealed. "So." Zac replied smiling at her again. "Now your smiling and kissing." Jessy squealed with a giggle or two. "How about this?" Zac said smiling before wrapping her in his arms, dipping her then kissing her passionately. "Whoa." Jessy sighed fanning herself, adding "Is it hot in here?" "Actually I was thinking it was chilly in here." Leslie answered. "Me too." Darcy added. "Well don't look at me." Zac teased causing everyone to laugh. "You know I think they're right, it is chilly. How about a bon fire? Tay would you make me a fire?" Jessy asked. "Sure Jessy." Taylor answered. "That's a good idea Babe." Zac said turning to his brother asking, "Need a hand?" "She asked me because she wants it to last." Taylor teased. "No tell me it's not true?" Zac whined turning back to Jessy. "How would I know? You won't until I say I do." Jessy teased making a face at him." "She's got you there." Adam chuckled causing the whole room to laugh. "I still want a sweater even though they're making us a fire. You got one I can borrow?" Leslie asked. "Sure come on. Meet you at the fire guys." Jessy answered leading the girls upstairs. After they found warmer clothing the girls stopped in the kitchen grabbing snacks before heading outside. "We bring munchies." Jessy called out. "We builded fire." Taylor hollered back. "Builded? Did Mr Home School Graduate say builded?" Jessy teased. "You be careful or Il'l put the fire out." Taylor warned. "What, you'll take a leak and put it out?" Jessy teased. "I warned you. Come on guys." Taylor said turning his back and peeing on the fire "You put out that fire and I'll take the cake back to the house." Jessy warned as Ashley, Zac and Adam faced the fire, reaching for their zippers. "Man but now I gotta go." Adam moaned heading behind a tree. "Wait for me." Zac hollered heading into the woods. "Cake. Did I hear cake?" Taylor hollered. "You peed on my fire." Jessy pouted. "I'm sorry. Boy am I sorry." Taylor replied causing everyone to chuckle. "Well it takes a big man to admit hs failings. Probably a big man with a big appetite. Would you like some of my cake?" Jessy chocked out. "Sure would Jessy. You are a lucky man bro. Look at her. A total knock out. One of the kindest souls I know. But most of all she cooks." Taylor shared. "You're right bro, I am a lucky man." Zac replied making his way to Jessy and kissing her sweetly. "I love you too Zac." Jessy sighed as he pulled his lips from hers. "How about that cake?" Taylor teased, adding, "You just kissed her so you'd get the first piece." "It worked." Jessy shared placing the cake on a bench, cutting it and offering Zac the first slice before serving the rest of the group. "Great cake Jessy." Taylor moaned as he took the first bite. "So big brother how pregnant are you?" Jessy asked. "To the point as always. Nat is almost eight months." Taylor answered shaking his head in disbelief. "What I should have asked when you hopped her bones and counted nine from then?" Jessy teased. "Whoa. I guess to the point is good." Taylor choked out. "She looks amazing for almost eight months Taylor. Has she been seeing a doctor?" Jessy asked. "Moms." Taylor answered, asking, "What do you mean Jessy?" "About her looking great for eight months?" Jessy asked. "Yeah that. You haven't really looked at her. She's gotten huge." Taylor replied. "Give her a break Tay, she's almost eight months pregnant. Now think back to Mom pregnant with Zoe at eight months." Jessy replied taking a seat next to him. "I guess she does." Taylor gasped as the image of his pregnant mother returned. "Yeah she does." Jessy repeated before smacking him in the arm. "What's that for?" Taylor squealed rubbing his arm. "That's for not telling us. Damn Taylor do you have any idea at all the thoughts we've had about her that just wouldn't have been if you'd been honest with us. What you think we're the enemy or something? I can see trying to keep this from the fans but we're family. Well not me yet. Is that it?" Jessy chastised suddenly jumping up, placing her hands on her hips, glaring at him before continuing, "That's it isn't it? You were afraid I'd rat you out. Sell it to the tabloids. Well all know you wouldn't think that of your own brother. And Ash is your best friend so you'd never think that of him. If Adam let it slip you know Ash would kill him. It has to be me. You know I've always felt you never liked me from the get go. So you never trusted me either I guess. I really thought things had changed but I guess I was wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong." "Jessy I..." Taylor got out before Zac jumped in, "That's not fair Jessy. You know he doesn't think you'd rat him out. If that was true the whole world would know about the three.." "You watch it." Taylor interrupted. "Three what?" Ashley asked. "Now look what you did." Taylor accused glaring at Jessy. "I didn't." Jessy protested. "She didn't I did." Zac argued. "Well you wouldn't of if it wasn't for her." Taylor argued. "That's not fair. You know she wouldn't tell." Zac argued. "You tell him but not me?" Ashley asked. "I didn't tell him." Taylor answere. "No he didn't have to tell us. We got to suffer through it all." Zac added. "You should have gone with me. It's all your fault." Taylor accused. "That was nobody's fault except you own. No way in hell would I do that to Jessy." Zac argued, turning to Jessy continuing, "I swear Jessy. I love you and you only. I couldn't do that." "I know you love me Zac. I trust you. You don't have to defend yourself to me. You are a good man Zachary Hanson." Jessy replied caressing his face then hugging him. "I am not a bad man." Taylor screamed as tempers flared. "I didn't say you were Tay. I don't approve of what you did but I guess now I.. well now I guess I can understand the pressures that would make you do it. I mean at first I thought you were just a total pig." Jessy explained, moving to Taylor taking his hands before continuing, "Don't get me wrong, I still think it was stupid and totally wrong. But now that I know about the baby.. I guess I'm just so full of questions that it makes me wonder." "What questions?" Taylor asked taken back by her admission. "Don't get mad okay?" Jessy asked. ""Truce." Taylor whispered. "I take it you were dumb enough to have unprotected sex with her or you wouldn't have married her. Are you sure though? I mean did you do an amnio to prove your the father? Nothing against Natalie but I personally know so many fans that said they would do anything to have your baby just to become Mrs Taylor Hanson.' Jessy asked. "No we didn't do a test. She said she was on birth control." Taylor answered. "And you believed her why? God Taylor birth control pills don't keep you from catching any STD she might have. Do you have a death wish?" Jessy squealed floored by his naive answer. "That's not nice." Taylor screamed pulling his hands from hers. "I didn't say it to be mean Taylor. Honest. It's just sometimes I have such a hard time understanding your sheltered lifestyle. I mean in the real world..." Jessy tried to explain reaching for his hands. "Don't start with that sheltered lifestyle shit. I've seen and done more than you. I've been around the world multiple times. Have you?" Taylor argued stepping away. "So you went around the world in your sheltered lifestyle. Whoopie! Fact is you are a rock star and you have to be protected from hoards of fans. Protected Taylor. You have been protected from the world. You haven't got a clue." Jessy argued, adding, "It's not a bad thing Tay. God you were raised in Hanson Land. Do you have any idea how lucky you are? Your Mom and Dad are still married and they still love each other. That's something rare. Sometimes ...." "Sometimes what Jessy?" Taylor asked as a far distant look covered her face. "Huh." Jessy mumbled as the embarassment of drifting off covered her face. "It's okay babe." Zac whispered stepping to her side and wrapping an arm around her. "It's just too much sometimes." Jessy whimpered. "What is?" Taylor asked lifting a finger to catch the tear making it's way down her face. "All the love your folks have. I mean look at you. I mean they couldn't have been thrilled when Nat presented them with her stick gift, calling them grandparents." Jessy explained, asking, "Why did she think it was her place to tell them? Much less the way she did. I mean in the real world Taylor you would have been so dead. Most parents scream, rant and rave. And some strike out." "She's right. My friend Joanie got pregnant and when she told her folks they went balistic on her. She ended up losing the baby from the beating they gave her." Leslie shared. "You didn't tell me that. So that's why Joanie moved away." Ashley replied wrapping his arms around her. "Yeah she went to live with her Grandparents instead of pressing charges against her folks." Leslie shared laying her head on Ashley's shoulder. Her confession sents shivers through Jessy. "You okay babe?" Zac whispered pulling her closer. "That's what I mean Tay. You are so lucky. I mean as lousy as things seem..... I'm sure you feel so totally trapped." Jessy started. "You have know idea." Taylor gasped, adding, "I mean I hate her at times. Yeah I know it takes two and she didn't get pregnant by herself. Sometimes I feel like you said, she was out to get me and did." "Tay I'm so sorry." Jessy gasped reaching out for him. "Me too bro. I had no idea it was this bad for you. There has to be something we can do." Zac added hugging both of them. "We'll help you through bud. There has to be something we can do." Ashley insisted hugging the group. "I want in on this." Darcy squealed hugging Zac and Jessy. "Don't leave me out." Adam teased huggng Jessy and Darcy. "Well don't look at me." Leslie squealed as everyone turned to her. "You're all alone there babe." Ashley teased. "And you look like a bunch of doofusses there. Like some Twister gone wrong game." Leslie teased. "It was fun while it lasted." Taylor declared as the group broke up. "Well if it was me and we all know that would never happen because I don't get none until I marry him. But if it was I guess I'd make the best of things until the baby was born. I would let Natalie know I have concerns and that I was arranging to have the baby tested before it left the hospital. If the test proves you aren't the father, I'd arrange for Natalie and her baby to return to her folks' from the hospital not yours." Jessy suggested. "Just like that?" Taylor gasped at her suggestion. "What you think you have a Mom and Dad sort of relationship going or something? Get real Taylor all you two do is try and hurt each other at any cost." Jessy replied. "You two fight like cats and dogs." Ashley added without thinking, quickly adding when he realized what he'd said, "I'm sorry Bud but it's the truth. You act like you hate her and she treats you in kind." "I'm not mad. It's true. Embarassing but true. God how did I let this get to this?" Taylor shared. "Like you could have done anything else." Jessy squealed. "What?" Taylor asked. "Oh Tay. My sweet protected Tay." Jessy teased, taking his hands before continuing, "Like you could have done anything else. You the son of Mom and Dad more in love than ever Hanson could what.. not marry the woman claiming you fathered her baby. Give me a break. Gees it's a wonder they didn't faint away at the suggestion you had had sex." "I considered it Jessy but you're right... no way was I going to disagree with them when they insisted I marry her." Taylor confessed. "I couldn't either Jessy." Zac added. "Me either." Jessy squealed causing everyone to laugh. "And you're not really theirs." Leslie teased. "Don't say that in front of the folks." Taylor warned then laughed heartily. "I'm sorry they love me more Taylor. They can't help it." Jessy teased as they all laughed harder. "Man it has been way too long since I laughed like that." Taylor confessed as the laughter died down. "I agree bro. I'm so glad you finally told us." Zac confessed hugging his brother. "Me too. Thanks for bringing her into our lives." Taylor replied nodding at Jessy. "Oh he didn't have any choice. You know that. You were there. Remember?" Jessy squealed hugging them both. "Well I might not have had any say in the beginning by I do in the end, I'll Never let Go." Zac confessed.
