"I wouldn't believe it either if I hadn't watched." Darcy mumbled before another round of yawns. "Sorry babe but Zac wanted to know where she was." Adam apologized as he woke her. "Come on in Zac." Darcy said sitting up in bed and pulling the covers up. "Sorry to make him wake you but I can't find Jessy." Zac shared entering the room. "She said she went home to the city. Something about being closer to the Mission so she could sleep a little longer this morning." Adam shared. "That may be what she said but she meant she won't sleep here until I marry her." Zac mumbled. "Well that doesn't make any sense. I thought she was all over you to make love to her?" Adam questioned. "That's what she told me. All Zac says is no. It'll mean more when we are married. She told me that over and over." Darcy added. "Yeah but once the house started looking like a home she decided that the house should be special like making love the first time." Zac shared. "Ahh that's so sweet." Darcy sighed. "Man hate to tell you bro but the house ain't a virgin no more. If you know what I mean." Adam shared nodding at Darcy and winking. "Gees Adam. Why don't you just tell him you boinked your old lady under his roof." Darcy gasped. "Boinked and boinked again." Adam choked out. "Oh join the group. Just about everybody but Jessy and I has gotten it on under our roof." Zac shared joining his laughter, looking at his watch. "You won't believe what she got accomplished last night while you guys played video games." Darcy shared. "Probably not much. I heard you guys laughing it up when I came up for more snacks around eleven." Zac replied. "So wrong." Darcy squealed. "So tell me what you guys got done." Zack asked. "Well Nat and I did nothing but watch as Jessy made that machine fly. Zac she finished Zoe and Avery's dresses and has Jessie's half done." Darcy explaiend. "No way." Zac argued, quickly adding, "Wait it is my Jessy. Wow. Really?" "Really. Meet me down there and I'll show you. Well I'll meet you as soon as Adam finds my clothes. I know I had them when I came in here." Darcy replied. "I didn't know I was suppose to keep track of them too. I thought I was to just get them off you." Adam tesaed, adding, "Let me think. Yeah you did have clothes when you came in here." "Einstein he's not." Darcy teased as Zac headed out the door. "Found them. She wants coffee." Adam called out rushing to catch him. "Yeah I better get a pot on. Tay and Nat aren't morning people." Zac shared heading downstairs. "So Jessy go to the Mission every morning?" Adam asked. "Yep. Ever since I asked her to stop running she's been going to the Mission to help her keep her promise." Zac answered. "Why'd you ask her to give up running? Oh in town. Yeah it probably isn't the safest thing for her to do alone." Adam said answering his own question. "No bro. She was just getting so thin. Oh you wouldn't know we didn't see you around then but she was like a stick." Zac shared. "Well she ain't fat." Adam replied. "But she does look healthier then when she was running. She was going like six or miles a day. The doctor said something to her yesterday about her weight." Zac explained starting a pot of coffee. "Morning." Jessy called out entering from the garage. "Hey babe. Done at the Mission already?" Zac asked looking at the clock. "Not by choice." Jessy mumbled. "What? Jessy what's wrong?" Zac asked turning to see her upset look. "Oh Zac. The place was overrun by reporters and fans all trying to find me." Jessy complained, adding in little more than a whisper, "I was in the back cooking away when they started filing in asking if I worked there and if I was there. Asking if they knew you too." "Babe I'm sorry." Zac whispered making his way to her as the pain covered her face. "Why Zac? Why did they have to ruin it for me?" Jessy asked figting the tears. "I don't know why Jessy, I just know that's what happens. Everytime you find something you like, the fans find out and they ruin it for you just because they want to see you, ask you a question, or more." Zac shared rocking her in his arms. "Enough feeling sorry for myself. Seeings I can't cook at the Mission anymore you guys will have to eat my cooking." Jessy sniffled ducking under his arms and heading to the refrigerator, grabbing things to make breakfast, asking, "How many ended up staying?" "Adam and I, Nat and Taylor, Ike and Mackie in the room next to ours and the girls are in the room across from the sewing room." Darcy said entering the room. "That's nine plus you two, eleven." Adam answered. "Hmm guess I'll make pancakes. Oh I picked up some blueberries. Darcy would you get them? I put them down on the counter in the garage." Jessy asked. "The counter that doesn't have the sink installed yet?" Zac teased. "It will Zac. You have done so much in such a little amount of time. I'm not complaining." Jessy insisted. "No you never complain. Hey why, I do enough for both of us. Believe me." Zac teased, asking, "Anything you need help with?" "If you mean it I'd love you to cook the sausage outside. I hate making the whole house smell greasy." Jessy asked. "Doable." Zac said heading to the refrigerator. "Fire. We make fire." Adam teased. "Outside. You make fire outside." Jessy teased back. The girls busied themselves cleaning the berries and making pancakes while the men grilled the sausage links and patties out on the porch. "Mom, Dad you guys up?" Zac asked two-waying them. "Morning son. Beautiful day isn't it?" Diana answered. "Sure is Mom. You and Dad want blueberry pancakes?" Zac asked. "Walker wait for me." Diana teased. "Mom I thought I'd let you guys know before you get here..." Zac started to explain. "What is it son? Zachary what's wrong?" Diana fretted the tone in his voice. "It's Jessy and the Mission Mom. The fans and reporters have ruined it for her. She says they swarmed the place this morning, so much so that they had no choice but to ask her to leave. She's done at the mission." Zac explained. "Oh no. Why? I keep praying that just once they'd understand and respect our privacy. Let us live our lives they way we want instead of hiding from them." Diana complained then explaining it to Walker. "Son how is she handling it?" Walker asked concerned for her. "She's cooking. She says we have to eat her cooking now that she can't cook for the Mission anymore." Zac shared. "MMmm that I can live with." Walker sighed. "Dear tell him we'll be right there." Diana suggested. "We're on our way son. I say let's ignore the bad news. It won't change things but it sounds like she's dealing with it as well as can be expected." Walker shared. "You may have something there Dad. She cried and then as fast as she started, she stopped saying that was enough feeling sorry for herself." Zac shared. "We'll be right there son. Save me some pancakes." Walker said heading them down the drive. "Jessy Mom and Dad are on their way over. Dad said save him some pancakes." Zac hollered through the screen door. "She says fine, do you have enough sausage?" Darcy asked making her way out front, adding once there, "Zac it may be none of my business but I think you ought to tell the others what happened at the Mission and ask them to avoid bringing it up. She is really hurt by this but keeps beating herself up over it. You know like the enough feeling sorry for myself she pulled with you." "What's up?" Zac asked feeling there was more. "She's cried maybe three, four times over it and each time it's the same, feeling sorry for herself ending." Darcy shared watching the hurt and disappointment cover his face. "Bro you can't blow up about this. At least not now. She needs you to be strong." Adam said watching as his best friend clenched his fists in anger. "You're right. I just hate to see her hurt though." Zac replied looking up with such desperation in his eyes. "Yeah it's the pits when they're hurting and you can't do anything to stop it. I feel that way about Darcy's folks sometimes." Adam shared placing a hand on Zac's shoulder. "Baby why don't you go fill Natalie and Taylor in on what's happened with Jessy." Adam suggested. "That's a good idear. I thought I heard them stirring when I came this way." Darcy said heading back inside to one of the guest rooms. "Morning girls. Breakfast is almost ready and I could use help setting the table." Jessy said making her way to their room. "Morning Jessy. What we having?" Avery asked. "Blueberry pancakes." Jessy answered. "Mmmm pacakes." Zoe squealed jumping on the bed. "Well help sissies set the tables so we can eat." Jessy squealed back. "Me do. Me do." Zoe squealed jumping to the floor racing past Jessy and to the kitchen, climbing on a stool and opening the silverware drawer. "Look at her." Jessy whispered watching her. "She knows what she's doing. Huh?" Jessie whispered. "We shouldn't be surprised it's for pancakes." Jessy teased in a whisper. "What you doing Zoe?" Avery asked entering the kitchen. "Me eat pacakes." Zoe said climbing down with a handfull of forks and butter knives, heading to the dining room. "Morning my girls. Well I'll be. Walker look at your baby." Diana declared pointing at Zoe making her way around the table putting down forks and knives. "I woke them and told them blueberry pancakes if they set the table. She jumps up and down squealing then bounces off the bed, marches out here, drags over the step stool, grabs the silver and there she is." Jessy shared. "My baby is growing up." Diana sighed. "Smart girl we're raising. I'll set the table for blueberry pancakes any old day." Walker said opening a cupboard grabbing a stack of plates and joining his daughter, greeting, "Morning Daddy's girl. Mmmm pancakes." "Daddy me eat pacakes." Zoe declared putting down the last of her silverware. "That you will. I bet your Jessy makes you the first pancake. You did a very good job sweetie." Walker praised placing the plates on the table, picking her up and hugging her tight. "I better get flipping." Jessy said making her way to the griddle. "What else needs doing sweetie?" Diana asked. "Drinks is all. There's more milk in the garage frig Mom." Jessy answered, adding, "I sent Darcy to check how Zac and Adam were coming on the sausage but she never returned." "Jessie dear go check for her." Diana asked. "Sure Mom." Jessie said making her way outside. "What can I do?" Avery asked. "How about you get the syrup out? That cupboard over there." Jessy asked pointing. "Hey you have blueberry syrup and maple syrup." Avery shared opening the cupbard. "Yep. Your brother likes it so I buy it." Jessy answered, pulling down a bowl asking, "Can you put them in this and fill it with hot water to warm them?" "Mmm sounds good." Avery said making her way to the sink. "Wow just like going to a restaurant." Diana shared. "I'm sorry I got side tracked." Darcy said returning with Jessie. "Zac says he's all ready but needs a platter." Jessie reported. "Great timing. Sis there's a big one with sides in the bottom cupboard behind you. Could you take it to him so we can eat?" Jessy asked filling another plate with pancakes, adding, "Darcy can you take these to the table and have Daddy help Zoe to the first pancake." "Sure. Hey Miss Zoe you sure must be special. Jessy says you are to get the first pancake." Darcy announced entering the dining room. "Mmmm pacakes." Zoe squealed bouncing up and down in her seat. "Those should be warm enough sweetie. Here let's split them up into these small pitchers so we don't have a line waiting for the syrup." Jessy said pulling down four small pitchers. "Looks good babe. What you need help with?" Zac asked entering the kitchen, pecking her on the cheek. "Help your sister so I can finishing making pancakes. How many were left?" Jessy asked. "I think one platter is empty already." Zac shared. "More please?" Darcy asked entering with an empty platter. "See I told you. Pigs. I come from a family of pigs." Zac teased. "Well if you value your life you'll get the syrup out there before they coming looking for it." Jessy suggested. "Oops you're right. Let's go sis." Zac said handing two to Avery and following with the others. "Here we go. That should fill it." Jessy said emptying the griddle before refiling it. "How about you?" Darcy asked. "I'll eat in a bit. Probably two more platters should be enough." Jessy answered. "How do you know?" Darcy asked in awe. "I've learned by trial and error. I haven't made too much in a long long time though." Jessy shared. "How can there be too much with them. Adam is the same way a bottomless pit and doesn't put on an ounce. Me, if I pack it in, I pack it on." Darcy teased smacking her hip then butt, adding, "That's why I offered to come get more. At least I'm not eating them." "Hey where's the pancakes?" Taylor whined. "I better go. I see King Grump is up. How does Natalie put up with him?" Darcy shared making her way to the dining room. Jessy carried out the third platter and joined them for breakfast. "Jessy. Jessy is it true? Did you finish our dresses last night?" Avery asked. "Yours and Zoe's are done but I have to put the zipper in yours yet Jessie." Jessy answered. "I don't believe it. Two almost three dress in one evening!" Diana exclaimed. "I told you I was a good seamstress Mom. Maybe after breakfast you girls can get cleaned up and we'll try them on to see how they fit." Jessy answered. "Really. I'm done. I'm going to go take a shower. May I be excused please." Avery asked. "Certainly dear but take your dishes to the sink please." Diana answered. "May I be excused too?" Jessie asked. "Yes dear but take.." Diana tried to answer. "I know take my dishes to the sink. Thanks Mom. Breakfast was great Jessy." Jessie shared. "Thanks sis. I'll make you a deal. You take my dishes out and I'll go put your zipper in." Jessy replied. " Sure thing." Jessie squealed heading back to pick up the dishes. "If you will all excuse me I have a hot date with a sewing machine." Jessy said making her way out of the room. "Breakfast dishes are all cleaned up babe." Zac shared entering the corner room, adding. "Wow you made those? Mom. Mom come in here." "What son?" Diana asked heading his way. "Look at these. They look like the ones you bought. No they look better. You are good Jessy." Zac shared. "Oh my. Sweetie these are beautiful. Zac is right, this is better than anything I've bought. Jessy you are so talented." Diana shared. "Thanks Mom. Well that does it for Jessie's. Now to try them on." Jessy replied. "I'll get them." Diana said making her way out then returning with the three girls and Darcy. "Sorry hun you'll have to go for a little bit. Ill bring them out once they're dressed." Jessy whispered. "Trying to get rid of me huh" Zac whispered into her ear before kissing her and leaving the room. "Who wants to be first?" Jessy asked. "Me." Avery squealed removing her robe. "Looks beautiful." Jessy sighed as Diana helped her pull the gown into place. "I want to see. I want to see." Avery squealed. "Oops that's what I forget. I dont' think this room has a full length mirror." Jessy pouted. "Zachary can you hear me?" Diana called out. "Yeah Mom what's up?" Zac replied heading their way. "Son we don't have a full length mirror in here." Diana shared. "You sure? It should be in the closet." Zac answered. "Oops. You're right. Sorry." Diana squealed, whispering, "Literally in the closet." "Here we go Zoe." Jessy said helping her into her dress while Jessie dressed herself. "Move Avie so I can see." Jessie said after her mother zipped her up. "Sweetie you did such a wonderful job. Let's go show everyone else." Diana suggested opening the door. "Me first." Zoe squealed racing out the door and down the hall. "Wow you sure you didn't buy these?" Walker asked as the girls appeared. "Did a good job babe." Zac added. "You know you could make some serious money sewing Jessy. I think about how little I paid for all the supplies. You know for that money I would have been lucky to buy just one gown." Diana shared. "That much of a markup? You're getting what seven gowns for the price of one then?" Walker asked. "Yes dear. I spent less yesterday than when I bought Zoe's gown last Christmas." Diana answered. "You're sewing for me first then if you want you can take on a few other customers." Walker teased, adding, "Four. I have to buy dresses for four." "Hey how about you guys. Zac what are you going to wear?" Jessy asked. "Already done. Dad took care of it yesterday." Zac answered. "Oh Daddy. You are wonderful. I sew for you only." Jessy squealed, adding, "Enough of the fashion show. Let's get you guys out of these so I can make the alterations and press them." 1
