"If I have to go then you have to go." Diana insisted as Jessy entered the Hanson home. "You have to go where?" Jessy asked, adding, "I'm here to take the kids to riding lessons. Zac is handling the contractor alone so I can go. Isn't he just the sweetest." "He better be the sweetest." Diana squealed, adding, "I haven't forgiven him yet for standing you up last weekend." "More roses I see." Jessy teased making her way to the table. "Like I said, I'm not ready for you to forgive him quite yet." Diana teased back. "So where are you going?" Jessy asked again. "To the Country Club. Walker is insisting I go. Such stuffed shirts they are." Diana answered rolling her eyes. "Country Club? When?" Jessy asked. "Saturday." Diana answered. "What? This Saturday?" Jessy squealed. "Uh huh. Isn't that the pits." Diana sighed. "No it's impossible. I have nothing to wear to a Country Club." Jessy insisted. "But Walker is insisting I go. Sweetie I'll buy you a dress and I'll make the others come too. I know Natalie will love it." Diana suggested. "Of course she would love it. She's at home in a Country Club. Got married in a Country Club." Jessy squealed, adding, "It's not my style Mom." "Please sweetie for me." Diana pleaded. "But..." Jessy tried to argue. "For your mother." Diana pleaded again, adding, "Pretty please." "You sure Zac will go?" Jessy grumbled. "He is my son. Besides he owes me big time for standing you up last weekend." Diana insisted picking up a cell phone and two-waying Zac. "Yes Mom." Zac answered. "Son I need you to join us at the Country Club this Saturday." Diana informed. "The what? Mom you know I hate those stuffed shirt things." Zac complained causing Jessy to laugh. "Is Jessy there? What did she say?" Zac asked. "Yes dear she is still here. I convinced her to go with us but she'd like you to go with her." Diana said turning the phone off quickly. "Mom that's not trueh. How can you lie to him? He is your son." Jessy squealed. "Wasted. He didn't hear you." Diana shared lifting the phone showing her finger off the button. "If Jessy wants me to I'll go Mom. What time? Is my Tux clean?" Zac replied. "Your father will tell you the time and I'll make sure you Tux is clean." Diana answered. "I'm taking Jessy to get a dress after riding lessons are over. I already arranged for your father to meet us and pick the children up." Diana shared. "Oh. Okay Mom. Tell her I love her." Zac replied. "She loves you too son." Diana responded then laughed placing the phone back on the counter. "You are good Mom. Quite the manipulator." Jessy teased as the younger ones joined them, ready for their riding lessons. An hour later Walker met up with them to take the children while the two of them headed in search of evening gowns. "They are all so ugly." Jessy moaned going through another rack of evening dresses. "It appears that showing skin is in. Way in." Diana complained holding up a slinky black number. "Maybe were in the wrong stores." Jessy whined coming up empty handed again. "Maybe we're in the wrong town. Fell like joining me in New York or LA?" Diana asked. "What? Is it always this hard? Is Nat coming Saturday? Maybe she knows where we can find the right dress." Jessy moaned collapsing in a chair. "Good idea sweetie." Diana squealed fnding her cell phone and two-waying Natalie. "Yes Mom." Natalie answered. "Natalie dear we are lousy at this. We have been to three stores already and everything is just so... so.. well there is no way I would be caught dead in these gowns." Diana complained. "Where are you Mom?" Natalie asked. "We're at the Mall." Diana answered. "The Mall is all wrong. You'll only find trendy things there. I found my dress at a bridal shop Mom." Natalie shared. "Bridal shop you say. I guess." Diana resonded looking at Jessy with a not convinced look. "It's got to be better than the junk we've looked at. At least the dresses will be dignified. I hope." Jessy replied rolling her eyes. "Taylor said he'd bring me to you. Where are you two?" Natalie asked and the made plans to meet. "Ice cream is always a good answer." Taylor said leading Natalie into the ice cream shop. "Hey babe." Zac called out following the two in. "Zac." Jessy squealed racing to him, throwing her arms around him, adding, "This is the pits. I don't want to go now." "That bad huh?" Zac teased holding her tight then kissing her cheek. "Butt ugly dresses everywhere?" I'll have nightmares. I just know I will." Jessy whined. "You've just been in the wrong stores." Natalie insisted as they made their way to the table. "You wouldn't believe this one dress. I was so totally confused by it hanging on the hanger I made Jessy try it on." Diana shared. "So." Natalie asked turning to Jessy. "You think she was confused. I couldn't tell the front from the back. I'm not sure I had it on right after all." Jessy moaned rolling her eyes. "Sounds interesting." Zac teased. "You would think so." Jessy squealed. "Don't know if I want you wearing it in public though." Zac added wrapping his arms around her covering her private parts. "You'd have to do this if I wore that dress." Jessy teased rolling her eyes. "What store was that in? You want a new dress baby?" Taylor teased. "In your dreams." Natalie squealed, adding, "And that's where it will stay." "Good one Girlfriend." Jessy chuckled high fiving her. "You stay away from my wife. She's turned in to a carbon copy of you." Taylor complained. "Whoa. Remember the beginning babe? You two were at each other's throats constantly." Zac shared. "Man I hadn't thought about that in a long, long time." Jessy replied suddenly feeling insecure and clinging to Zac. "You put him in his place Babe. Don't let it get to you." Zac whispered as she cuddled closer. "I guess." Jessy moaned pulling him into the booth beside her. "So you think you can help us?" Diana asked patting the seat next to her. "I'm sure I can Mom. The Mall is just the wrong place to look." Natalie answered taking the seat next to her. "Well I love you too." Taylor grumbled. "Thank you son." Diana teased, adding "I love you too." "Thanks Mom." Taylor grumbled grabbing a chair, sitting at the end of the table. "I'm ready to take on the world now." Diana declared finishing her sundae. "We may just have to unless we give in and wear butt ugly gowns. Daddy sure owes us for this one." Jessy teased, adding, "I thought you had to meet with the contractor?" "Yeah I already did. I figure with Natalie and packages there is no way you can fit in our car and there was no way I was letting him drive it home." Zac answered nodding at Taylor. "I want to drive your car." Taylor whined. "No way and that's final. Tell him babe." Zac argued. "Zac do you think it's safe to let him ride in it? Maybe we can get a bib? Mom do they have bibs here?" Jessy teased. "No you behave in my car young man." Diana warned wagging a finger at it. "Your car? When did it become your car?" Taylor asked. "Jessy is it my car?" Diana asked glaring at Taylor. "Yes Mom. You're just being nice and letting Zac and I use it." Jessy answered, adding, "Zac show Taylor the keys." "Read them and weep." Zac said fishing the keys from his pocket, sharing the keychain reading 'Mom's Ride'. "No way. How do you rate?" Taylor argue. "It was nice knowing you bro." Zac teased. "I look so sucky in black." Jessy whined. "Mom can you take me shopping in your car? I need a new black dress." Natalie teased. "Very funny not." Taylor pouted. "I'm serious bro." Zac said solomenly, reaching to shake his hand. "Funeral are so sad." Natalie whimpered. "You'll make a wonderful widow. Black is so becoming on you." Jessy said wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "You think so. How long does this widow thing last?" Natalie asked. "Stop it now. Mom I'm sorry okay. I'm sure the car is yours and I'll never drive it." Taylor insisted. "And?" Diana asked glaring at him. "And it will never happen again." Taylor added. "Good. Let's shop girls." Diana declared and they went their separate ways.
